We went last summer to Indian island for an overnight camping trip with our 3 year old. Beautiful location with nice calm and shallow water for the kids to play in. Most spots you can walk out around a 100ft and the water is only a foot deep or so. During low tide you can explore a little further along the coastline for some really cool photo spots. I’d recommend bringing water shoes for comfort as the sea life and rocks can be a little nuisance.
One night of tent camping was plenty here as it does take a lot out you if your not used to it. At night time they have a noise curfew so all of the generators have to be shut off.
There is a lot for the kids to do here, and a lot kids brought along bikes which we will do next time. Full bathroom facilities with showers as well, bring flip flops as the floors are dirty from all of the traffic.

Read moreAmazing place to spend quality time with your family and friends. We hadn't had this much fun all together in a long time. I recommend this place to everyone. You will have a great time. The camp ground also has clean bathrooms, where there are well maintained and clean shower stalls as well to wash up in. There is also running water at each site, at a small daily fee. Again FUN and relaxing for the whole family and friends. A GREAT place to come and relax and enjoy Nature. It is also DOG FRIENDLY🐶! (You must have your dogs shot records with you or your dog will not be permitted to stay! This is for everyone's safty!) Also there is a 7-11 with in 5 minutes of the park....What more could you ask for??? I HOPE you, your family and friends have as much as a WONDERFUL TIME, as we...

My husband and I spent one night there and our poor dog (around 15 lbs, small) has over 30 ticks we’ve had to remove since we got home. We used natural and heavy duty tick repellent on us and him and this still occurred. The campsites are very close together (there are close to 100) and some people seem like they might live there. There were two cars that circled around the camp sites throughout the night, I don’t know for sure but they seem like maybe they were hocking drugs. Aside from this, it’s nice that they allow dogs and the trails and beach accesses are really beautiful. We only...
