Spark by Hilton Tupelo — Hotel in Tupelo

I went to Tupelo mississippi spark by hilton may 9th 2025 , first when we checked in I noticed it wasn't nothing like no hilton we've ever experienced, looked online noticed rates usually 85 but they charged us 360 plus 100 deposit for two days for one two bedroom. Got two rooms one for me and my husband and a two bed one for my teenage sons we was here for a funeral BTW . The rooms was horrible, stain couches, stained discolorated toilets , old dirty carpet. Even the lobby bathroom had Rust on it. We went immediately back down to get refund . The front desk clerk was kind but he called his manager who was very rude. I explained to her my husband a diamond member we stay at the Hilton alot and this was the dirtiest one I have seen yet!!!! She says the couch is only 4 months old and she take pride in her hotel. And she will refund us because she don't want us there anyway since we criticized the rooms. No Apologies, no remorse . We drove 8 hours to come to this misleading location that should not have hilton attached to it. The clerk said its a new brand that funded by them but they not under them. We almost bypassed this hotel due to poor ratings and we are so glad we made the decision to stay. On a roundtrip roadtrip from Florida to Kansas this was the third Hilton property we stayed at and it was by far the cleanest, freshest (remodeled), and friendliest. We knew from reading the accommodations of the hotel prior to booking that it only had a bagel bar (which had a great variety of flavors). We also knew prior to booking that the location didn't offer much, however what we desired was a nice clean and quiet hotel not far from the highway for a good night's rest before we jumped back on the road the next morning. To dispute the other reviews, the coffee was good (not watery), and we had a mini fridge in our room. Finally, we left something in the room. Within a couple of hours we received a phone call asking if we'd like to have it sent to our home. That was awesome, as we would've been greatly disappointed when we realized we left it. We highly recommend this location and would not hesitate to stay again if passing back through. On January 2nd, 2025, we embarked on a journey to Panama City Beach for our youngest daughter's wedding. Despite leaving late and getting slightly lost, we found ourselves in need of sleep by 2 a.m., just outside Tupelo. A quick online search led us to the Spark Hotel, which seemed like the best option. Although it was a bit off the beaten path, it was well worth the extra effort. The staff at the front desk was incredibly helpful and immediately understood our exhaustion. Check-in was a breeze, and the rooms were fantastic!

I would greatly appreciate it if someone from the company could contact me with details about the beds and pillows they use—they were outstanding! After a restful four hours, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast of fancy bagels, yogurt, and coffee. The desk staff even came by to wish us a good morning and a safe trip. The Spark Hotel is a spotless and professional establishment. If we ever need to stay near the Tupelo area again, we will definitely choose the Spark!
