Twin Falls County Fairgrounds: Home of the Fair, Magic Valley Stampede Rodeo, and More!

The Twin Falls County Fairgrounds is hands down one of the best venues in the Magic Valley! Every year, the fair is packed with energy, amazing food vendors, fun entertainment, and a welcoming small-town community vibe. The Magic Valley Stampede Rodeo is a true highlight—top-notch bull riding, incredible barrel racing, and a crowd that brings the excitement every night.

The fairgrounds are well-maintained, with plenty of parking, clean facilities, and staff who go above and beyond to keep things running smoothly. Whether you’re here for the fair, rodeo, livestock shows, or any of the other events they host year-round, you’ll always leave with great memories.

If you’re visiting Twin Falls or the Magic Valley, this is the place to experience Idaho culture at its finest....

They have started charging more to get in on top of the already expensive ride tickets and food. There is very very few stands worth visiting in the merchant building all most all of the stands are just asking you to buy more stuff. When I was growing up cactus petes and smokey the bear use to come and there was more stands doing free stuff now there is very little for people to do with out spending a lot of money. The tickets for the concert are 3 dollars cheaper for general admission but the last 2 times I went to the concert we had rude drunk people near us that didn't care if others were around. More people are smoking inside the park which makes it more difficult for those with breathing problems to go. The fair use to be a fun thing to go to now I'm note sure it's worth it. It's almost cheaper to go to a...

We were having a nice day until we stopped by the Janice McGeachin's booth. A fair official came over with 4 policemen and told the people to tear down their booth and leave the fairgrounds. He said they were standing outside their booth and dragging people in. That wasn't true. I was talking to a young man and yes we were outside the booth, but I asked him to come closer because there were other people talking and I am hard of hearing. The fair official was very rude. I felt that it was politically motivated . The people at the booth were also wearing Christian tee shirts. Maybe it was religiously motivated. I really felt like it had nothing to do...

Covid-19 definitely had an impact on the amount of rides which was kind of disappointing and even though they said that was going to happen, it was just not the same without the classics like the Zipper. Overall still a fun experience but I will say the health precautions didn't make a lot of sense. Lines were twice as long because they would let limited riders on so that there was space established but at the same time no one was required to where a mask. It just seemed counterproductive and if you weren't going to have masks then why not fill the ride. But they at least made an attempt and did have hand sanitizer stations all over the place so that was nice.

I'm giving this place 4 stars because the price of $22 a night just can't be beat. Only about 20-30 minutes away from Shoshone Falls, Centennial Park and some of the best Kayaking and site-seeing in the world. Full hook-ups of 30/50 amp power, water and sewer. Plenty of space to spread out. No fair at the time we stayed but an active horse show which we hardly noticed. Peaceful and quiet. WARNING: This place is the homeland of all flies. Had to kill at least 20 that got in the second day. Check your seals, check your screens. Bring plenty of spray and possibly an electro zapper lamp of some kind. Otherwise it might not be worth it.
