There is very very few stands worth visiting in the merchant building all most all of the stands are just asking you to buy more stuff. When I was growing up cactus petes and smokey the bear use to come and there was more stands doing free stuff now there is very little for people to do with out spending a lot of money. The tickets for the concert are 3 dollars cheaper for general admission but the last 2 times I went to the concert we had rude drunk people near us that didn't care if others were around. More people are smoking inside the park which makes it more difficult for those with breathing problems to go. The fair use to be a fun thing to go to now I'm note sure it's worth it. Read moreWe were having a nice day until we stopped by the Janice McGeachin's booth. A fair official came over with 4 policemen and told the people to tear down their booth and leave the fairgrounds. He said they were standing outside their booth and dragging people in. That wasn't true. I was talking to a young man and yes we were outside the booth, but I asked him to come closer because there were other people talking and I am hard of hearing. The fair official was very rude. I felt that it was politically motivated . The people at the booth were also wearing Christian tee shirts. Maybe it was religiously motivated. I really felt like it had nothing to do...
