Western Inn — Hotel in Watonga

Stayed in Watonga for a work trip at the beginning of November 2016. We had to find a hotel for 2 rooms on short notice for one night (due to current hotel having a wedding). I will be honest, the review I read prior to stopping by here, wasn't good. I was skeptical of what we were getting in to, but figured it was for ONE night. Well, we ended up checking all 6 rooms out of our current hotel and moved to this one! It surpassed expectations! Very clean & very friendly staff! They helped us out tremendously by accommodating our short notice in need of a room & then dealing with our extended stay due to weather. Everyone loved this motel (we had 2 rooms 6 nights; 4 rooms 5 nights) & if we are ever back in the area for work, we will stay here again!! Don't judge a book by it's cover. Check it out...

This hidden gem is family owned and operated. They take care in cleaning and making sure you have what you need. Fortunately I get to call this place home. I live on the road for work, and the staff makes it soo much easier being away. From schedule cleaning( since I work nights), to extended stay rates. There is plenty of semi parking. Of course some days have to work together to make it all work. A truckers/ workers blessing. The staff make it soo easy and stress free. Next to pizza hut, napa for truck parts, truck stops w/ diesel and more parking to grocerie stores and dollar general/family dollar. Off the junction 270 from i40 (n/s) -33 e-w from oakwood- N.Okc . Arrived for an Annual Bikers and BBQ 🍗 rally here in Watonga, and have to say Anita was so very friendly and welcoming when checking us in. Also a pleasant surprise Josh (Manager) came by when my honey was wiping his motorcycle 🏍 down from the rain 🌧 introducing himself and telling us a little about the town, and letting us know what to do if we needed anything.

He also explained they have a partnership with “The Hotdog Joint 🌭” behind the sonics, where if you go there in the morning and mention your staying with Western Inn you can get a coffee ☕️!

Rooms are clean 🧼, and have all the basics for a great and fair price! Super friendly area! We will definitely use this place again...
