Quality One Motel — Hotel in Weatherford

Stayed 3 nights at this motel recently, although had planned to stay for a week. Very disappointing. We only received 2 towels, 1 hand towel, no wash cloths, and the room was never cleaned during our stay. We had to ask the office for towels the second day and on the third day, asked the cleaning lady for more towels off her cart.

No amenities except a pool. The breakfast only consisted of Fruit Loops, Corn Flakes, coffee, milk and juice, and was taken up promptly. So if you're a late riser, don't expect breakfast. There were quite a few people who hung around in the parking lot for late hours. As two women traveling alone, we didn't feel safe. It didn't really appear to be a family based motel. This motel would probably be okay, and very reasonable, for someone staying for work purposes, but disappointing for vacation purposes.

When I originally called the motel for room rates, I was quoted $48.67 per night, or $235.00 weekly rate which works out to be $33.86 per night. Upon arrival, I was charged $275 for one week. On questioning, the owner said the remainder was fees. With Parker County's sales tax rate of 6.25% and state motel fees of 6%, or 12.25%, the additional $40 came to 17%. Inconsistent, but no complaint since the room was still very reasonable. When we checked out after 3 nights, I only received $50 credit, so ended up paying $75 per night for the room. This was considerably more than the much nicer motels in the area, so there does not appear to be consistent room rates for this motel. Taxes and fees for the second motel we chose were a consistent 13%. Therefore, my advice would be to check out the other motels in the area before booking this one, especially if you are staying in Weatherford for vacation purposes and would like nicer...

I recently visited this property a few minutes ago after I had spoken with the owner ahead of time of my arrival , asked about weekly rates , taxes , length of stay which was 4months starting today . He gave a good offer no doubt , on getting to the property I pressed the bell a few times because no one was at the front desk. I walked outside the reception area to see if I could get anyone to help me, no one around . Turned my back to walk back into the office I saw a man standing , first impression he responded like he was bothered, told him I called earlier and I’ll like to see the room because have had 5 episodes of mold and mildew smell on some previous properties I have been to . He responded you wanna see the room I said yes please, he replied it’s a good room and I said I understand but I’ll like to see it before I go ahead . Then he said but am eating ?? I was confused , am paying for this room not getting it for free , it’s not my fault you don’t have a paid receptionist, and you don’t talk to a customer who is bringing his or her money to your business! How would he feel if he was on vacation with his lovely wife and the hotel they reserved told them the same thing , I bet it won’t sit well with him either . In my cool and calm demeanor, I said pls go finish your food I’ll wait , I walked to the car and waited 10mins and I said to myself , am not going to settle for less with my money in hand . I can always go somewhere with a very go customer service and relation ! This is my experience not going to tell anyone...

I personally wish there was a no star option as I feel one is even too much for the way this place treats people. In all fariness I can’t speak on behalf of the rooms as I didn’t even go into the room or stay there. Pulling in towing my horse trailer I was told that I could not park in their well lit lot even w more then 20 open parking spaces and it was 9 30 pm. I was told to park it in some unlight dirt lot where I was afraid I may get stuck or something may happen to my animals since I can’t see them and it was pitch black dark. Completely uncalled for given the fact so many spots were all open but very very rude Night staff insisted they were booked and needed all those spaces. Now I’m a female traveling another female friend, a little puppy, not even 4 months old, horses and a baby. I did not feel safe or like I could even get out of the dirt lot since the ground was deep n wet n I don’t have 4 wheel drive. The owner said “ do u have pets” I said yes a puppy but she has a kennel in my trailer. He said well we don’t allow pets! Well then why not just say we don’t allow pets and even ask me? Ridiculous! Especially again to leave my animals, trailer and truck in some dark lot where I can’t sven see due to a 6 foot fence. Continued on to Abilene n will most Def not even recommend my worst enemy to go there. Rude rude rude and so...
