On 9/2/22 at 6:35pm we checked into room 227 with our 11 month old son and dog. We ended up checking out of the room at about 8pm upon finding bed bugs when attempting to settle into bed for the evening after eating dinner and showering up. It is because of this terrible experience I can not recommend this hotelβ¦
I went back and forth on whether or not to post this review because I understand how hard running a business can be, but the condition of our room and behavior of management was absolutely unacceptable. When we tried to get our money back we were instructed to call the following day and speak to management for our refund. When I called the following day the gentleman I spoke to suggested that we owed him a portion of our nights stay because we used the shower and towels, what an asinine suggestion! Had they notified me ahead of time that room 227 had bed bugs then I would not have showered or even entered the room at all. Also when checking out after only and hour and a half in our room we waited in line behind a guy who was also checking out and seeking a refund because of bed bugs in his room as well.
The only good thing about this place is that after arguing with management the reluctantly and rightfully returned our money.

Β Β Β Read moreWe were driving towards Arches National Park and decided to stay halfway between Salt Lake City and the Park and made reservations at National 9 - with all of the road signs along the way, we were anxious to see what it had to offer. The signs advertised Wifi, the pool, free breakfast, and more. We arrived quite late, found it easily, and the front desk clerk was outside monitoring a stray dog, so he wouldn't get hurt. Check-in was simple and the clerk, I believe was Erin, was friendly and welcoming. I asked her about the free breakfast and she said, "just go to the Cowboy Cafe in the morning and it'll be set out." Got to our room and it was a bit underwhelming, dated, and smelly. My friend used the shower and said that everything got wet because there was no shower liner and then she cracked jokes about the poor caulking around the tub and the hole in the door. We slept ok, but the beds were not the most comfortable and in the morning there was no free breakfast - just full meal service at the cafe. We excused ourselves and got...
Β Β Β Read moreI stay here several nights a year while I'm in town for work. It's a pretty good deal, and the rooms are usually clean. The adjoining cafe is a nice touch, and everyone is pretty friendly. It's not a bad place, if you end up having to stay here.
In most rooms, though, the bathrooms are pretty rough and the laminate flooring is peeling up around the edges; lots of apparent water issues. I did stay in one room with a remodeled bathroom, which was refreshing, but it's one of the few. Being right by the highway and having poor seals on the doors, there is a lot of road noise. I generally bring earplugs when I stay here.
I will note that they seem to work pretty hard to clean up their reviews... so their rating is somewhat inflated. I had written a slightly less positive review in the last 6 months which is now missing, as are a few other negative reviews I noticed before. Kind of shady for the management to flag reviews as abuse, without addressing the...
