Outlaw Cafe — Restaurant in Wellington

0 stars! We didn't even get to eat here. We stopped as we were passing through town excited for a nice cafe to eat and relax. The hostess/waitress acted annoyed to see a family of 7 walk in. There was a wet rag on the only table big enough to seat us. I used it to wipe down the dirty table. She never took our drink order and when we ordered our food they didn't have a couple things we wanted. We finally got our order in she came back 10 minutes later to inform us she didn't have the meatballs for the spaghetti-we said plain spaghetti was fine she said they didn't have that either and and it was to early to serve spaghetti because it was a dinner item and it was noon. We left because we were already concerned with the cleanliness of the whole place and the service was terrible. We never even received our drinks. We went to the travel center gas station down the road and were much happier with the service and options of food and it...

I gave this place overall 5 stars for it having truck parking right in front of the restaurant. The food was pretty good. I got steak and smash potatoes side of salad. I told the waitress for a bake potatoe but she forgot to write it down reason why I ended up with smash potatoes and gravy. Which was fine. The gravy was a Lil on the salty end. I can definitely tell you the salad was made fresh because I watch her chopping the salad. The ranch dressing was a lil on the thick side.

The atmosphere was alright but the place was SO COLD. It was so cold i was getting a headache and satrted developed a running nose while wiating for my food. I looked at the vent and you can actually see the frost air cominf out the vent. So BRING A JACKET.

The waitress we had was so nice. The customer service was amazing! She even gave up a refill to go cups on our way out. Overall, the food was delicious, great service, and ...

Poor service. Worse food. Ordered the 12oz ribeye. Waitress never asked for how I'd like it cooked or what kind of potato I'd like. Had to tell her when she was taking my friends order and never asked my friend either. Ordered it medium rare as I always do. What came out looked nothing like a steak; let alone a ribeye. Was cooked well done and was maybe a quarter inch thick and the size of a small pancake. I asked waitress if it was in fact the 12oz ribeye and she had no clue and had to ask the cook. Verdict - ribeye. Not cooked to my order but only steak they had. Never again, cowboy kitchen up the road at least has actual steaks ...
