The owners of this quiet little place are absolutely great! They have been super helpful, kind, accommodating, and have really been really flexible in with working with us. This is the first place I've been to in a long time whre I feel like I'm being treated like a HUMAN BEING!!!!
It's just a plain, simple little motel, meaning the rooms aren't super fancy and there is no pool or anything like that. In fact, they are quite basic, no kitchenettes etc, BUT they are very clean and have all the necessities....comfy bed, fluffy new pillows, a microwave, mini-fridge, a big flat screen with directv incl. movie channels, and free wifi. Which is perfect sometimes cause that's all you really want! Simplicity! And something else we love is that you won't have to deal with noisy or nosy staff, or maids knocking at door, waking you up. But if you need them for anything, they are right there immediately & with a smile on..
The owners have made staying here a really nice because we can actually relax both physically and most importantly...... mentally! I love this place cause of the affordability and flexibility of the management towards us working people. I know everyone staying here feels the same which is why everyone here are respectful & quiet which is cool.
So, I take my comment back about this place being just being plain and simple, it's far...
Read moreWe had a long hot day of driving and wanted a quiet, "out of the way" motel. The price was excellent; however, the small air conditioner was not up to the 90+ degree afternoon. It is an older motel; however, it seems to have been totally renovated. It has a nice refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, TV, and free EXCELLENT Internet service. After about an hour, it was obvious the air conditioner would not cool the room for several hours. I could tell that the air was not blowing out at expected. Therefore, I opened the front and found the filter to be totally filled with Utah dust. I washed the filter in the shower and then left it out so the unit would work at its maximum potential. The problem was, not only was the filter filled, the coils were also in need of cleaning. After about four hours it did drop the temperature into the 70's; however, that is not what we felt we paid for. We would stay here again, in the spring or fall; however, I would not recommend this motel to anyone who wants to escape from the Utah heat! The motel management was nice, polite, and would have helped move us to a different room; however, we just want peace and quite----and a place to cool off. The Internet service was GREAT; however, if you have AT&T or T1-Mobile cell phones, do not...
Read moreUpon checking in we were told that the water lines had broke and that there was about 3' of water under the building and that currently there was no running water but that management would have this taken care of later that same day. We went to our rooms, VERY SMALL rooms, not enough space to have 2 twin size beds in a room. The rooms were very cold. Space heaters were provided to warm the rooms which worked partially. Went out and about for a few hours, figure let the room warm up and check out some scenery. Got back to the room to sleep, the room had warmed up. Pulled back the blankets, got in bed and got woken up by mice crawling in my sheets. Jumped out of bed saw the mice in the room, checked the bed and there were mice droppings in the bed. Packed up my things, went to the front desk and checked out of there. Management did refund my money but blamed the mice situation on the broken water pipes. Went down the street to Motel 9 was able to get a room for the rest of our stay and was able to enjoy a warm, comfortable, mice free room. Worth the extra $ to stay anywhere else but here. I DO NOT recommend the Pillow...
