Highly recommended! Location, amenities, cleanliness. Wow! The cabin is stocked with everything you need and more. If a person has their own shoes and clothing they could do almost any activity in the whole park with the items provided by the hosts. The cabin is newly renovated and very inviting!
The organization and labeling are quite helpful to find what you need. The guide book is thorough! We referenced it several times for food menus, trails, and the shuttle information.
The screened in porch is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or play a board game in the evening. Coffee and board games provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cups, utensils, pots, pans, blender, etc.
The living room has a nice couch, rocker recliners, TV, DVD player with a few DVDs, and board games! It's a great space to relax indoors.
The master bed is honestly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The guest room has twin bunk beds and there is a pack n play available for tiny guests!
The bathroom has a lovely shower with a nice (and full) soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser. The washer and dryer are easy to use and detergent is provided.
Outside the cabin offers paddle boards, kayaks, electric bicycles, a grill, and firepit with comfortable seating. Life jackets and bike helmets provided. The water is less than 400 yards from the front door. The shuttle stop is a quick 10 minute walk from the house and will take you up Going to the Sun road. The cabin reservation is a ticket if you prefer to drive yourself.
Overall an impressive cabin and highly recommended to anyone looking to visit Glacier...
Read moreThis was a great place to stay on the west side of Glacier National Park for our family vacation. The proximity to lake McDonald was perfect for enjoying the provided kayaks and paddle-boards daily. The e-bikes were also a great addition for an early evening ride, especially with a bike path close by. The watercraft and bike amenities were a perfect addition to our stay. The entry point to Going-to-the-Sun Road was close by which made it easy to access. The house was exceptionally clean, and well stocked with supplies. After hiking and exploring during the day, we came back to the house and went to the lake (paddle-boarding, kayaking, and taking a dip in the water), enjoyed grilling and roasting s’mores at the fire pit, rode bikes, walked down the street for ice cream and souvenir shopped. We were slightly surprised by how large the construction project is next door, however, the workers were typically finished working by early afternoon so the construction noise was not an issue for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would rebook if returning...
Read moreOur family recently spent 4 nights (mom, dad, 17 & 18 yo) at this incredible cabin and it was the best decision we made! The exceptionally clean and well kept cabin is fully stocked with necessities and water toys. The location, being right inside the West Entrance to GNP, is super convenient. You don't have to wait in any lines to enter the park and there is a shortcut to get to the checkpoint to GTTSR. Having access to the Kayaks, E-Bikes, and Paddle Boards is a game changer since you don't have to be bothered with renting from a separate vendor. Kayaks and Paddle Boards are easy to get to the water too! Lake McDonald is right there. The hosts do an amazing job of communicating and have a great guidebook that literally answers all your questions. We hope to come back and...
