This is the life I wish to live in the future. I spent a week here and it all felt like a dream. The mountain views from all parts of the house were wondrous, and the house itself was incredible. It is perched on Whitefish ski resort, which made it easy to walk down the driveway and a bit down the street, and ski right into the Base Lodge of the resort. And, taking chair 2 and skiing back to the house was super convenient! The house is a modern and chic style, with lovely and tasteful tiling, an open concept kitchen to living room and dining area, and enough beds/bedrooms to comfortably fit 10 people. There were desks for people who wanted to work remotely; one standing desk in one of the bedrooms, a desk in the master bedroom, and a grand workspace in the loft. The loft was my secret hiding space (I switched off with one other person), where I could work comfortably because the voices didn't carry up to the loft as much as it carries down. And the loft had the most comfortable couch to bask in the sunlight in the picture perfect view of the sunset and sunrise. Not to mention, the it also had yoga and a foam roller to ease the soreness after a day of skiing. And, the master bath has a bathtub WITH a view, if you wanted to soak in some salts. Costco was around 30 minutes away, so we stocked up on food and made feasts every night. The host was SUPER generous, bc we did not have to buy any condiments or herbs (it even had flour, balsamic vinegar, olive oil!). The kitchen had everything you needed too, and more! There was even a grill outside. Basically, everything we needed, the house had. We definitely took advantage of the espresso machine, for we are caffeine monsters. But it was wonderful, and for those who enjoy seltzer, a sodastream-like machine was also available. My only regret was working a few days while I was there...I should've just taken off the whole week and taken in all the mountain air and glory. My time here truly felt like a dream. I am SO sad to be back home. Major thanks to the owner for sharing such a beautiful home with us! That view and stay is something I'll...

The actual slope (ride to the bottom to take the lifts to the top) at Whitefish is just a couple minutes’ walk from the front door. It also had everything I needed: the kitchen is stocked with more supplies and appliances than I could have imagined! Other details like automatic lighting, the sound system, the fireplace, and the deck made this place very comfortable to spend the evening after a day of outdoor adventures. If you’re not going to be on the mountain, exploring the nearby town, Glacier National Park, or elsewhere, you should be comfortable in the House.
There is ample space to lounge around, read in front of a window with breathtaking views, do some recovery stretches, or just take a nap in one of the spacious bedrooms. My group had nine people, so it was important that the kitchen was able to fit the massive stash we bought at the nearby Costco. There was also plenty of space to store clothing and toiletries in the closets, dressers, and bathrooms.
This house was nice and convenient, and I hope to be able to stay there the next time I’m...
Read moreWords cannot capture the experience I had at House on Glacier. This new, modern house was a fantastic accommodation during my trip to Whitefish. Located near the top of the mountain, I woke up everyday to breathtaking views down the mountain and of Whitefish. The house comfortably fits at least 10 people, with more than enough space for everyone. The owner has everything and more than you ever think you would need at a house rental - including condiments, coffee machine, wood pellet grill, board games, etc. This is a ski-in/ski-out house which made it very convenient to ski on Whitefish (essentially can ski down to the Home again route down to the base lodge).
Although with heavy snow outside, the house was very warm during our stay and I was never cold.
Would 100%...
