We had a wonderful 3 nights staying in condo #3! Definitely one of the best locations and places to stay at Whitefish Ski Area. Very easy to find, protected underground parking was great, especially nice when it snowed and for unloading and loading our vehicle. A wheeled cart and elevator were very handy for getting our luggage and gear to our condo. We selected condo #3 because we could look right at the ski slopes and chair 3. We also had views of the mountains to the southeast. The condo itself was immaculate, very well laid out and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well supplied with pans, pots, cooking utensils, coffee maker, crock pot, dishwasher, gas stove, huge fridge/freezer. The pantry was convenient for storing our food. The wall mounted TV above the gas fireplace was nice for watching movies at night. We only used the master bedroom. A very comfortable king size bed, a big closet, a sitting nook, and another gas fireplace. The sitting nook even had little led lights in the ceiling you could turn on for starry night sky effect. The double vanity in the master bath was very nice and the glass and tile shower was a nice touch. Of course we had to take advantage of the hot tub on the deck after skiing! Very clean hot tub with nice privacy. I also think we were the first to use the gas barbecue grill on the deck! As I mentioned, the location on the mountain can’t be beat! We literally put on our skis and skied right down to chair #3. After a day of skiing, we skied right to the door of the garage. It was sure nice not to have to carry our skis anywhere. Unfortunately, we didn’t use the exercise room and equipment. We certainly could have... it was easily accessible but we had enough exercise from skiing. Last but not least, the owners... Gail and Darryl. They are wonderful people! Very friendly and wanting to make sure we had everything we needed. So very kind. We even got to meet their beautiful and friendly puppy, Kuma! As you can see, we had a great time and it was so nice staying at Snow Bear Chalets! Make sure you check out their treehouses too! They were occupied, so we didn’t get a chance to see inside, but they look like a lot of fun! Very unique. 🙂 Enjoy your...
Read moreWhat can we say that hasn’t already been said in other reviews? We stayed in the Tamarack Tree House for 4 nights/3 days and absolutely loved it! My wife and I travel the world and this was one of the top locations we’ve stayed. They are very professional, so booking and checking in/out is a breeze. Teryn, the PM, was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay (and even after our stay as I forgot my ski gloves which she promptly shipped back to me). Thank you Teryn! On most of our ski trips, we typically eat out for meals. Going in, we knew we didn’t want to “socialize” this trip, but rather stay in and enjoy the property and the convenient ski-in ski-out location. We cooked 100% of our meals in their FULLY equipped and stocked kitchen (they even had olive oil, spices, flour, and a small assortment of condiments already there). My wife and I truly felt like we were at home during our stay! It didn’t have that “rental” feel. We said multiple times, “man I feel like we’re at home.” And ski-in – ski-out…. Goodness gracious! It’s so nice to put on your ski gear and boots and literally walk about 15 yards to where you put on your skis. We came back every afternoon to make lunch, a hot toddy or two, and warm our bones in the hot tub. The fireplace and living room overlooking the lift and mountain, sunset colors, reading “nook” with stars… It is heavenly! Heated floors in the bathrooms and entrance.. every little detail was meticulously thought out and executed. Kudos to Snow Bear, it...
Read moreUnbelievable! 4 generations of our family were able experience this skiing vacation due to the incredible location of Snow Bear Chalets. We’ll never forget waving from the chairlift to the balcony of our Chalet #3 where Great-Grandma, Grandma, and Grandpa were all comfortably watching their kids and grandkids having fun on the ski hill. For skiing access, Snow Bear had a dedicated family locker for our Chalet, with ski hangers, hat and glove holders, and plenty of room for helmets, boots and other gear. After getting our boots on it’s only a few steps around the corner and we were on the slope of Whitefish Mountain Resort’s Chair 3. This access is amazing for anyone, but if you have kids it makes the transition to the slopes a breeze. Chalet #3 itself has everything we wanted for a comfortable vacation. We were here for 4 nights, but could have stayed a month. Tall ceilings, generous bedrooms, large bathrooms, custom shower finishes, fully appointed kitchen with a large island, spacious pantry, all the cooking pots/pans/utensils, and even natural gas fireplaces in the master bedroom and great room to top it off. The skies were completely clear one night and the stars were amazing! We captured this scene from our own private hot tub. Star gazing during a long soak after a full day of skiing was so relaxing. We highly recommend a stay at Snow Bear Chalets, whether you’re looking for a ski in - ski out experience or just wanting to make some amazing family memories. We...
