429 Resort and Marina - Lake Tawokoni, Tx — Hotel in Wills Point

Well now under new ownership very thankful since the new ownership they fix our underwater broken line on site 15 which we are permanent residents the upkeep on the park itself has gotten better and I have mowed our lawn for us which looks wonderfully great watch we have been waiting on for months as permanent residence in site 15 however they have a girl there named Emily who is 19 years of age and they have hired as a receptionist to work in the office she is very rude and she has started a lot of drama with all the residents that live there this past weekend my wife asked to rent either a tie up or a boat slip which she did not even look to see if any were available and said she thought she sold the last one and was very rude to my wife so we had only one option we tied up our boat in the Cove by the marina she called my wife was very rude until this we had to move our boat we couldn't tie up there so we went and ran our jug lines and tied up our boat on the shoreline by what they call is there fishing houses as we have seen many people do time and time and time again with no problem the girl that works in the office who is only 19 years old and was drinking beer was several people parked on golf carts right in front of our vote where we tied off at she wasn't on the clock and she told us we needed to go rent a tie up that we could not tie up there we had nowhere to Resort but the tie up there and they had never had a problem with it before there again she had such a very rude attitude I'm guessing she's making up these rules as she goes along we had signed a new contract with a new management when this place changed ownership which I have a copy of and it does not state that anywhere in the rules even off the clock she is very rude and tries to cause as much drama as she can and why would management allow her even when she's off the clock to openly drink in public as a minor goes beyond my wildest...

This is an update of my review that I feel like I need to put. I really like this place and we were going to spend 5 months here BUT we have had such a disrespectful neighbor that we are leaving. The first incident was that the gentleman had too much to drink one night and fell into our motorhome and put a dent and scratch in the bay door. My husband went over to talk to them but the wife was there and said oh yeah he had a few drinks and he will come over when he got there. Well he never did. He avoids us. We can fish right in the back of our motorhome and he put two buoys there right behind us for his jet skis. Not in back of his place just ours. The management told them that they had to come back and remove them that day but they never did. They only live 1 hour away from the lake. They waited until their next weekend they came up. They came up a 3rd weekend and when they left we noticed they have security cameras on the outside that are pointed straight into our living room and bedroom. We spoke to the management and they have called them a few times and told them to come and move the cameras. It has been a week and they still haven’t been here to move the cameras. We have to keep our blinds closed because that is the only way to have our privacy. They park in other people’s spots and just walk around like they own the place. I don’t blame the management as they are doing everything they could. We have been doing this for almost 9 years and have never had any problems with neighbors but these people are just so disrespectful of everyone. It’s a shame because this is a very nice place. This place did not meet expectations, I seriously don’t recommend coming here . I heard back then with the old management it used to be amazing so we decided to try it out again with the new owners but it’s not worth a single penny . We had paid for #16 cabin that comes with tv , shower , queen bed , and restroom . None of these things worked. Tv was disconnected, toilet was cracked water that came out every time we flushed , sink didn’t have knobs , floor full of dead insects after them charging us almost $30 for cleaning service . We basically did the cleaning ourselves. Whenever we brought the problems up to the office they were no help , manager gave us the key to another cabin to “ only use the shower , we have no one to clean at the moment “ all that had to be done was change sheets and disinfect . We had to ask for a refund that thank god it was approved because they know this wasn’t fair since we had paid additional for all those necessities for them to not work .
