Americas Best Value Inn Wilson — Hotel in Wilson

me and my girlfriend decided to stay here for a few days. it was bad beginning to end. At the moment i checked in i had to pay for two days even though it was past 12 in the morning so i had to pay for the previous day that i didn't stay so i wouldn't have only had 11 hours until check out and the actual day it was but not before the guy at the check in station tried to claim that they was having constriction done to the building so i couldn't stay the extra day but still charged me for the room for two days. After the check in we headed to room in which was supposed to be a nonsmoking room but smelled like a ashtray. we went to turn on the air because the room was hot we noticed that the air conditioner was busted and took a long time to actually cool down the room. we decided to take a shower to our dismay and surprise there wasn't no hot water at all it wasn't not even warm. so i spent $150 for a bad room all around worst stay...

We spent a night at this ABVInn (Wilson, NC ) after a long days drive from MD. The property is not extravagant but certainly cleaner than most budget lodging. Office staff was prompt, efficient, and friendly. BUT that is not what makes this an outstanding location. After a wonderful nights sleep in a very clean room, we checked out to continue our trip. After reaching home, my wife realized that she had left her tablet pc in the room. We contacted the office and informed them of our loss. My wife was told that one of the staff had already retrieved the tablet and had given to the Mr. Patel, the manager. It was delivered to us within 2 days of our notification. Often this circumstance would lead to a ' sorry we didn't find anything in the room'. We are so grateful that the staff and management were both honest and accommodating. We will certainly stay there when our travels take us...

The place is sketchy as all.On order to check in the front desk had to call owner to get a code,theres no lighting around entire property to feel safe with.However plenty of DRUGS (I know bc I was offered "ANYTHING I NEED EVEN FUN COMPANY FOR THE NIGHT") SECURITY CAMERAS, weekly ppl who look like they are running from the law(They slammed their door shut as we walked by then was peaking out window to see if we were looking at them.When u go there for the night u go on outside right side bc the back is falling down, the middle is the sketch ppl and the beds are broken blankets had holes from burns dead bugs toilet paper was on the floor bc roll holder was broken old food in cushions of couches...U couldnt pay me to stay again. NEEDS NEW OWNER...
