I booked through a 3rd party because your website never beats the prices they give me. I made a specific notice that I had a Service Dog. I have stayed at this property many times before. When I physically checked in, I again stated I had a Service Dog. The desk receptionist still charge my CC for the dog. When I reminded him that it was a Service Dog and I should not be charged, he said he made the adjustment and the credit would show back up on my CC in the morning (this was 4 days ago and still the incorrect charge is pending on my CC). I went to the desk in the morning to make sure the charge was credited back and he said it was released and may take days to show up because of my bank. This is absolutely a false statement and my bank manager is even willing to talk to them direct to help them understand that whatever is credited back to any CC, shows up immediately and the bank has nothing to do with it. The desk manager (2nd in charge) told me that wasn't true and then asked me how could they do it, they can't access my account? I didn't want to make him feel as stupid as the question he asked so I said in the same way you accessed my account to receive the funds, which was an IMMEDIATE charge to my account. My bank had nothing to with that either. Walmart, Booking.Com, and many other merchants issue credits to my CC and they show up instantly. My bank has no reason to hold funds. As of this writing, the incorrect charge is still pending on my account. Tomorrow will be 5 days now. This is incompetence at its finest and a poor reflection on the Wyndham and Americinn company. It should have never been charged, especially within 5 minutes of my telling the desk receptionist. He tried to blame on the system. The vice-manager says it has been credited...as you can see, nobody seems to be responsible. Keeping peoples money for no reason and blaming another institution, causes your company to look very desperate for money, in this case $40! In addition to the above, the heating and cooling system in the room is horrible! The heat stays on until the set temp is reached, then automatically turns on the air conditioning to bring it back down! I had to actually wait until the set temp was reached then get out of bed to shut the system off so the air conditioning would not turn on during a cold winter night! I will never stay at your facility again! I will post this on Google and with...
Read moreStayed 3 nights at the Windsor Exit off I-25 AmericInn by Wyndham Windsor and paid through Priceline the first and third nights and paid Wyndham at the front desk the second night. We were required to pay a $100 incidental deposit for EACH night we were in the same room. $300 total! One deposit was cancelled so we got that money back. The second deposit was kept by the hotel which we were not made aware of when we left or after we left as to why … So… after driving back to AmericInn by Wyndham Windsor to find out, I was told it was because we left major stains on the bedding they couldn’t get out. The maintenance guy chimed in and said they have to replace what we stained and that it was going to cost $85 to do that. I said for what and he said for a comforter. I asked him if he knew the prices of what everything costs to replace and he assured me he did. (Huge eye roll on that comment) I said I didn’t know how that could’ve happened bc the first thing I do when staying at a hotel is take the comforter off the bed and set it aside. This time was no different. The maintenance guy who had been standing there listening to me and the managers convo then pulled up a photo on his phone after I requested to see this horrible stain. He pulled up the blurry picture in about five seconds that he then let me look at for about a half a second. It had been over two weeks since we stayed at this hotel and finding our particular stain photo was just too easy. What he showed me was not necessarily a comforter and most likely just a random photo on his phone that he keeps for when the client wants proof of actual damage they allegedly caused and he happens to be standing at the front desk?!? The third damage deposit has not been released back to my account. The hotel said they did releases it but I have not seen the money and it still says “Pending” in my app. Wyndham blames my financial institution and my financial institution blames Wyndham. It’s been 23 days and no one will help from the hotel. They refuse to speak to my financial institution over the phone about it. The manager just tells me she released my money and there’s nothing more she can do. She is smug and rude and needs to get her employers under control who lie to customers right in front of her. I want my money back and I don’t know if that will ever happen!?!? Stay somewhere that has some integrity. This hotel is...
Read moreVery displeased with our time spent at the Americinn Fort Collins/Windsor. We chose this hotel due to its close proximity to just about everything, unfortunately it wasn't a wise one. The guest rooms leave so much to be desired ... old heating units that are intermittent, sinks that don't plug, showers that are falling apart and very old linens that are worn, frayed and disgusting. If that isn't bad enough, the pool people raved about was closed the entire time we stayed AND the entire hotel was without TV service for an entire day until staff contacted repair and finally got someone out to fix it a couple days later.
THAT ISN'T EVEN THE BAD PART!! During our stay, police responded four times, once in the parking lot for drug dealers, twice INSIDE next to our room for people who were doing crack and meth who sounded like they were coming through the wall and one other time for some guy who had overdosed!!! There are constant strange folks coming in and out of rooms all hours of the day and night (not pizza delivery folks by the way),but drug dealers and prostitutes! The staff is fully aware of and acknowledges every bit of this but looks past it with the excuse "nothing we can do about it". It's pathetic and completely UNSAFE! Sean, the General Manager, seems to be more interested in flirting with the female guests than actually doing things to improve what could be a nice place. Joey, the night shift guy, is NOT at all interested in lifting a finger and reads his book avoiding people unless they're standing right there to get his attention and the female staff is staunch and moody most of the time.
The "breakfast" they offer consists of reused gravy, sausage patties that are definitely not real meat, fake eggs, month overdue yogurt and bread that'll rip your teeth out. The 24/7 coffee is REALLY bad and tastes like they've never washed the containers.
Do yourself a favor, DO NOT stay at...
