Yikes! After reading reviews over a year old, it seems like little has actually changed. At check in we were given our room number and keys without any direction as to where our room was and what door/access point was most convenient. When we asked the lady, she told us "you're on the second floor, there are room numbers"... gee, thanks! The hallway smelled of BO horribly bad. As other mentioned, the door has about an inch opening at the bottom letting light, noise and (I'm sure as others have mentioned... bugs). The room was decent, but our remote had wax (or I'm assuming it's wax) all over it, the floors were poorly put together and dirty (walking from the shower to the bed, the bottoms of our feet were black), there were red hand prints on the wall that I told myself were from the one red painted wall but I cant confirm that... the bathroom towel rack was broken and just tossed underneath the vanity, and there was black hairs EVERYWHERE.. In the bed, on the bathroom vanity, and in the shower (my husband, myself and our dog are blonde so certainly not from us). And yes, the hotel is right on the highway so you hear EVERYTHING outside, was able to drown out some of it by turning the fan on the AC unit. Did have a decent amount of lawn space to walk the dogs. It served its purpose for a night's sleep, but would not recommend to others.

This is the 1st negative review I have left. I was always taught if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything. I feel I must warn other unsuspecting traveller's. The online profile for this business is not accurate. Not sure how it has 3.6 stars. It is a crappie roadside motel. 1st of all, it is literally right next to the highway so loud traffic all night. Yet, it is very difficult to get to. It is 3 left turns around all the trucks stops and through the parking lot of 2 other really sketchy looking motels. The hallways and common areas were all dirty. We arrived on a Friday evening after a long day of traveling looking for quiet and rest and got neither. Lots of people hanging out in parking lot drinking. Lots of partying noises from adjoining rooms. Pet friendly which we needed but lots of dogs barking as well. The outside doors did not lock so anyone could come and go.. The garbage in common areas was overflowing. The hallways were filthy and all the paint was chipped and dirty. The room was very basic, it had recently been remodeled but already looked abused. The smoke defector had been removed. The floor was dirty.. There was either dried blood or ketchup on the wall in the bathroom. I am posting photos.

After reading the other low reviews I have found that none of the issues stated have been addressed. Outside doors do not even line up with the frames. Rooms have chipped paint, loose fitting doors, the walls have dust/grime on them, deadbolt on my door appears to have been damaged in the past, almost every outlet in the room has been removed and replaced with a blank cover, floors were dirty could feel it on my bare feet, lighting is limited as there is one main light above the door and in the bathroom. Main section of room only has lamps one of which doesn't even have power (lamps are also power outlets since all but 1 outlet by the beds has been removed). I checked 3 different rooms before settling for the one I stayed in.

This place is not what it appears to be staff is not friendly at all and I had first experience was awful and how the staff treated a disabled young lady was not good the statement from staff they didn't want that kinda people there !poor girl was locked outta her room till she paid with all belongs in the room because she had hard time with putting her money on card ...so I helped her out because staff dint want help ....and she needed help . My experience with this place they ask people for reviews then treat the people poorly we had been over charged and got cops called and now I hear of same things going on there again. person that's been long term more then three years having hard time. putting them out in less their friends ..because everyone at this place ....place always has trash all over in summer time and cigarettes butts all over grounds and back step railing been broken for few years ....staff and workers tell ur personal information too other staff. I always asked if doing back ground checkes are legal on people that stay there ? I have one ? Who really owns this place ..... so many different responses from owner or is management? With different names ..... not place I stay ever again .. this place had went with out running water ,and cable no working pool,no icemachine always broken and took coffee and sugar away had ask for permission get sugar one point ......very disgusting and disappointing......and i seen on line they sorta running it like low income housing like apartment...

I stayed there on a late weeknight, coming off the highway on a long, long trip for work. I was very tired. The place is hard to find. Its new construction, there are no signs visible from the highway and the building is linked with what seems another competing hotel. It was hard to figure out at night where the actual front entry was. In a long rather drab building, just a glass door on the side. The lobby was sparse and looked like it was just put together, possibly they just opened? It had a very unreal feel to it.

Also, the building hallways, stairwells and halldoors all had hallmarks of rough use, hasty paintjobs and sloppy carpentry giving the whole thing a tacky kind of feel. The fire doors to the hall entrances that I used were not able to close properly -- a violation of fire code and not safe.

Anyhoo though -- the room was clean, fully outfitted, quiet, newly and neatly remodeled and the bed comfortable. I got a full night's sleep, a nice soak in the tub and there was a breakfast restaurant close by to fuel me up for the next day's drive. All I needed.

The tacky, kind of creepy interior, the indifference of the clerk to mask protections for COVID and the lack of visible signage from the road -- and the long windy side road to get there caused me to give it a 3 out...
