Hostel y Posada de Las Hadas — Hotel in Punta del Diablo

We stayed in one of the cabanas with private bathroom. As it was low season we were the only guests there. ||Erica and Roger really looked after us, from upgrading our room to card games in the evening! ||You can have food at the hostel (which was helpful during low season as no restaurants were open), Roger is an amazing cook so I'd recommend eating there even in high season! ||Our room was spacious and the shower was hot and powerful. ||Breakfast is basic but the home made bread was delicious! ||The hostel is in a good location and it is easy to walk to a beautiful beach from there. The hostal seems fine on the pictures provided on all sorts of booking sites. In summer the place will probably live up to your expectations. However when we were there the place was kind of deserted and the owners seemed overworked from the high season. The rooms are empty and lack all necessities. No bedside table, no plug to charge phone, no reading light. Again in summer you probably stay in the garden late, so it won't matter that much. Realizamos nuestra reserva por Internet con muy buena antelación, llegamos al lugar y para aprovechar el tiempo (somos una familia chileno-uruguaya) dejamos los bolsos y salimos a conocer y recorrer las playas. A nuestro regreso al Hostel descubrimos que las sabanas, almohadas, y colchones tenían muy mal olor y una suciedad inexplicable para un establecimiento turístico. Nuestra sorpresa fue mayor al iluminar el techo y ver las telas de arañas y arañas por todos los rincones, para peor al correr los colchones para ver bajo de ellos, CIENTOS (Literalmente) Cientos de arañas se dispersaron por el piso de la habitación que tenían como nido a los colchones.- Ni hablar del estado general muy poco y malo Ej. camas, no había en un dormitorio (Altillo) por lo que había que dormir en el piso y en esos colchones, un detalle eran las puertas sin cerraduras, tenían candado. Toda esta situación la descubrimos al llegar a dormir después de un día de viaje y de paseo muy cansados. NO RECOMENDAMOS PARA QUEDARSE A NADIE, Un capitulo aparte es el encargado que al llamarlo a las 02.00 am para que vea la situación nos dijo que las arañas y los alacranes eran parte integrante del lugar, (parece chiste) de todas formas la solución que nos planteo fue la de irnos y devolvernos el dinero que le habíamos pagado por el alojamiento al llegar. Solución que aceptamos pues la verdad NO SE PODÍA DORMIR EN EL LUGA, el mal olor y la suciedad eran tremendo.
