First time staying at this kind of hotel since our honeymoon — since we’re here, we’re going all out.
The hotel is split into four levels: Sea = Earth = Sky = Heaven. We went straight for Heaven with Club Lounge access.
The lounge is open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Breakfast is from 7:00–11:00, afternoon tea from 2:30–4:30 PM, and cocktail time from 5:30–7:30 PM. Outside of those times, you can help yourself to soft drinks and snacks anytime.
There’s also a special lounge area on the beach where you can have unlimited soft drinks and fruit skewers.
Visitors are allowed from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Aside from only being able to bring one visitor into the lounge, everything else is open — they can eat, drink, and hang out with us freely. Pretty nice setup.
We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 PM on check-in day and were taken straight to the Club Lounge for check-in and afternoon tea. The scones and cakes were amazing — all four of us (two adults, one teen, one kid) were stuffed. At 3:00 PM, we went to our room, dropped our things, then headed to the beach, kids’ playroom, played table tennis, did archery, and took some photos.
At 6:00 PM, we went back for cocktail time, then had dinner at the Citron restaurant at 7:30 PM. Honestly, we were stuffed from check-in all the way until bedtime.
Back in the room, we found a 5-inch chocolate cake and a bottle of red wine waiting — a celebration for our wedding anniversary (though that day was also the 16th anniversary of our first date). Since we couldn’t possibly eat more without bursting, we put the cake in the fridge for Johnny Yang and Hsin-Yi Yang to help us finish the next day. Took a bath and just knocked out for the night.

Day Two:
Woke up at 7:30 AM and went on a solo 4.5 km hike to burn off some calories. I explored almost the whole resort during the hike. Came back and saw the restaurant packed, so decided to stick with the Club Lounge — semi-buffet with unlimited main course orders. Since we were already all-in on the lounge, might as well make the most of it.
At 10:00 AM sharp, we welcomed our guest family. First stop: garden heated pool, then the cold-water main pool for 20 minutes, then to the beach with the kids to play in the sand and canoe. Along the way, we kept enjoying the soft drinks and fruit skewers from the beach lounge. Real talk: if you’re planning to go lounge-level, no need to prep snacks or drinks — there’s refueling stations everywhere. Even sunscreen is available all over the place.
By 1:30 PM, we were already full to our hearts, but still took the guests to Barefoot at 2:30 PM for lunch. Visitors have to pay separately — one Italian salami pizza, one seafood pasta, and two bottles of sparkling water set them back 1.5 million VND (around NT$2000). At that moment, I was glad I booked the full board option — three meals a day for just a bit over 200 USD. Smart move.
After lunch, we rested for 15 minutes. The kid went to the playroom, and the adults sat down at the lounge — claiming to be too full to eat, but still stuffing ourselves with cakes, tea, and coffee…
Cocktail time was about to start again… so we decided to go for a walk before heading back.
At present: our guest is sitting on the kids’ playroom sofa, holding...

Like the rest of the hotel, the attention to detail was second to none, from the design touches to thoughtful amenities. The room had a huge bath, a rainfall shower, and loads of space to relax. Just remember to keep the balcony doors closed - the local monkeys popped by more than...
