I stayed here for 3 nights while I was in Dong Hoi. First I just want to say thank you to Candy and her sister for being so accommodating. I lost my wallet while out on a day trip and they allowed me to spend another night with no questions asked. Candy then also went on a 1 woman rampage and managed to track down my wallet and send it on for me. On top of this Candy dropped me off at the train station and recommended an absolutely banging restaurant to eat at before leaving (lyly maybe?). The facilities are a little dated but the bed itself was comfortable and the Aircon and WiFi worked with no issues. I arrived to Dong Hoi by night bus at 4 am. I was knocking the door, ringing the bell but nobody wanted to open the doors. I had to wait to 5 am. Nobody speaks English. You can't confirm the bus ticket, buy a trip to Nha Ke Bang, everything is so difficult. When I wanted to pay (for one night) it lasted about 15 minutes with Google translator. Today I received a email from well known booking site that they told them I wasn't there. They want to avoid their commission. There are some advantages: rooms and lobby are clean wit AC and TV (TV doesn't matter for me). It is quite cheap. But... I can't recommend it. Tours and confirmations I had to do in...

I strongly recommend this hotel for travelers with budget. Room is clean and well equipped for the price. Staff are lovely and very friendly. The hotel owner Tho is also really passionate about her work and that is the reason I want to visit this hotel...
