Hong Ky Boutique Hotel &Cafe Restaurant Dien Bien — Hotel in Điện Biên Phủ

Hotel is only 2 ladies working all day , friendly staffs but all reviews on the internet is quite right, far from center, small hotel and self rated 4 star standard, poor food and expensive . you should order for breakfast, lunch or dinner at nearby hotel A1 which is bigger, more beautiful, and cheaper , nice view. I spent 2 days in Hong Ky hotel and booked from booking.com. but when i arrived they seemed tobe know nothing, price is expensive compared to the surrounding hotels. Tour information is not available and it's not easy to catch taxi from hotel. No parking, no bodyguard, no bellboy, no restaurants, no elevator. You will be charged 100% if check in early or late around 6hours. It's disappointed to spend 2 days here in my routine 10 day- business trip in Dien Bien Phu. I recommend tourist should try another and cheaper more options like A1 hotel, phadin hotel, Dien Luc hotel...near the center. I booked 1 night but checked out late and they charged 100%...

We found the accommodations average as we looked out on to the next house and it's very close balcony ||The noise was outrageous as we can hear car, bikes and people all through the night...if you have to stay here...mountain view (it's at the back away from the street) ||The food and beer were way over prices |Beer was 25,000VD when just up the street 2 mins to A1 beer club it is 12,000VD ||There was no drinking water provided, which is poor choice on the host as the water from the tap is undrinkable.||We found that even buying water was an issue due to there being no refrigeration in the room.||The room was very clean and tidy but that is all it had going for it ||We paid $18 and at a very nice hotel next to the next to the beer club was $25 ||We also got the bus to Laos, you would think someone would be able to communicate or even stop for a pee break out n a 5 hour bus😳||They get 1 Geö82...

Hotel was nice and in good condition. Very comfortable bed. One major disappointment was the fact that guests could smoke in the lobby/restaurant area of the hotel. Our room was directly above the front and smelled really badly of cigarettes once we got back from dinner which was extremely frustrating especially after travelling all day on an uncomfortable bus. However, didn't wake up in time for breakfast before our bus the next morning and the owner gave us some bread to take with us which was nice. We just feel that cigarettes should not be allowed to be smoked...
