Terribly Disappointing Experience – I Will Not Return. I had stayed at this hotel twice before and was quite satisfied, but my recent stay (check-in on June 15, 2025) was so bad that I feel compelled to write this review as a warning to other potential guests. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, with noisy construction happening every single day of the week (in my opinion, might last for about 2 months). Upon arrival, I was assigned a room on the 5th floor. Unfortunately, the deafening noise from drilling, hammering, and wall demolition made it impossible for me to rest after a long day of travel. I called the front desk to request a room change — specifically asking for a quieter room since mine was too close to the renovation area. However, I received no response even after 5 minutes. I had to go down to the reception and they finally moved me to the 9th floor. The front desk also gave me two complimentary foot massage vouchers, each valued at 700,000 VND. I ended up giving them back to the staff as a gift — because I can buy such services when I need them, and more importantly, what I truly wanted was a quiet, comfortable place to rest after a tiring workday. The next morning, breakfast at the restaurant was also unpleasant. Loud construction noises, including drilling and hammering, made it hard to enjoy the meal. What shocked me the most was being woken up before 7 AM on my final morning by the sound of heavy drilling — even though the hotel clearly states that construction work takes place between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. This clearly shows a lack of supervision and poor operational control, and worst of all, a complete disregard for the comfort of the guests. During such renovation periods, a hotel must properly manage room assignments to minimize the impact on guests, or at the very least, inform guests in advance so they can decide whether or not to stay. But here, it felt like: “You booked it, so you have to endure it.” That’s the exact impression I was left with. I am extremely disappointed and will absolutely never return to this hotel. If you’re considering booking a room here anytime soon, think twice — unless you want to go through the same awful...
Read moreMaybe it was not our luck, but that was the worst hotel of our 3-week stay in Vietnam and Cambodia. First the hotel is located on a very busy street (which is ok if you like noise). It seemed that the rooms had been partly renovated as the furniture was recent but the carpet in the hallways of each floor and in the rooms (I visited 3 of them) were filthy and stained. Same for the curtains. In our rooms we found some sort of dust bugs on the table by the tea and coffee making facilities. Dinner was not available at this hotel (not sure why...), but breakfast was varied and very good. Out of the dozen staff who were there at reception and in the breakfast area to attend to customers, only 2 spoke English, although this is supposed to be a 4* hotel (with many foreigners). So when you ask them a question, they don't understand and it takes them 5mns to get someone to come to you. At the bar we had an interesting experience too: located on the rooftop, you get off the elevator and walk straight into a small and dark room with plenty of lights (disco style) with shabby sofas. We walked through the room and went outside where some high tables were laid out but no chairs. A (very) pregnant waitress came to see us and we had a long discussion about how to get chairs because she could barely speak English. In the end my husband and I went back into the dark room to get the chairs ourselves and bring them out on the bar's terrace. It took us another 15mns to ask the same waitress questions about their smoothies, juices and other drinks as she struggled to answer because she could not understand us. In the end, on the 3 drinks we chose, they did not have the product... So out of despair and having enough of wasting our time, we left the bar and went back to our room. It is a shame because the view from the terrace was just fantastic but the service and amenities...
Read moreI can’t recommend staying here, the experience here was “incredible”. First when we arrived they kept our passports at the check-in “to make sure there is nothing missing from room” or otherwise we had to pay 2,000,000 VND deposit. This is a terrible practice we never experienced staying in 9 other different hotels in Vietnam. Furthermore, the room has nice materials and looks nice, but the windows do not sound-proof well and it is quite noisy in the night, not for a light sleepers. The room is quite small and the AC is not good. The breakfast was not good at all and there were none vegetarian options besides bread and fruit, cucumbers and tomatoes. When asked if they can prepare something vegetarian for us as it was not fair that all dishes which were many had all meat in, they pulled put menu card and asked us to pay if we wanna have something vegetarian. Furthermore the staff is not helpful at all in terms of arranging or advising with trips and local sights, they barely speak any broken English, and there was an issue when we left a glass at the reception from a room, and specifically told the receptionist this is from room in order to avoid that they blame us that it is missing, but of course event bough we have foreseen this moment to avoid problems at check out, then we were accused there is a glass missing from room and they left us and taxi waiting until they figure their problem out. Incompetent personal and service not adequate to a 4 star hotel. Can not...
