Home 1988 — Hotel in Da Lat City

This is by far the best place I've staed in Vietnam og maybe in the whole of asia. Such friendliness and warmth. Zum, Darlia and Pho (Sorry, I don't know how to spell the names) were so nice to us and it felt like we were a part of their family from the very first day.|We arrived on the day of Tet (It's a bit hard to find since it's located on a sideway) and the day after they took us out to some temples nearby where they had to pray and even to visit some of their friends. Also the next day they brought us to some friends near a teafarm. Obviously they can't bring all the guests they receive, but the atmosphere in the homestay is enough reason to come! - Nice chat in the evening with the family and the other guests after dinner, which you can join if you want||The rooms were also really reaaly great. They were really cosy since you get a small room for yourselves and it feals almost as if you are inside a cave. ||Best wishes to the family, we had such a great time with you and you really made our stay worth remembering. Small cute hostel, nice kitchen, where they offer eggs, jam and toast for breakfast (you do it on your own) and a rooftop terrace!

Rooms are clean and bathroom gets cleaned every morning. They offer towels and laundry (full washing mashine = 30 k).

The receptionist is always helping and having a smile. Speaks good english!

After having a small accident with our motorbike, she organized a bus (with bike) to Saigon so that my boyfriend gets proper help in a good hospital.

Be sure having a bike, cause otherwise it's a long way to the city. Therefore it's quiet ;)

All in all we would come again. Thank you...

I spent 4 days 3 nights in Dalat and chose Home 1988 to stay. It is my best decision ever. ||Everythings is clean, convenient and comfortable. They have one bathroom for each floor and 3 extra on the terrace. You can cook here, do laundry, make a BBQ party with friends in Dalat night on the rooftop. ||I loved the sliding door with lock and the curtain for safety and privacy. Oh, also enjoyed the self-service. I felt like being like home here. ||The host is nice, enthusiastic and friendly. ||I will stay here again when...
