Finally! One of the rare authentic families that welcome you and guide you through the north with places of nature and culture untouched by tourism. Way better then all those 100+ -size homestays and tours we've seen in the region.
We stayed here and we travelled with went on a Ha Giang Loop tour with the owner. As for the rooms; not much more you can wish for. Very clean(!), nice bathroom and the beds are nice (relatively soft, Vietnam seems to have a preference for very hard beds so these beds were a nice change). We loved the lounge area where there's food and drinks! Also, they've got family rooms so it's actually possible to travell here with kids!
The real reason to come here: its authentic! While tourism is growing rapidly in the region, this homestay is still next to the owner's home. You're greeted by the family. They speak and understand English. They'll provide tours through the region for small groups. As the owners and their family have always lived in the region, you'll see amazing places with almost no other tourists
You can eat with the owner's family and they help you continue your journey with tips and bookings.
We'll miss you guys! Thanks for letting us see all...

I was told it will be chilled not party but first night was huge party impossible to sleep before 2am with the noise. So only to sell their trip, for the price like others I don't recommend I was very disappointed Also they put me on a bus to hanoi that arrived very far from center whereas my friend was dropped in center in another bus so it...
