We were greeted by very friendly staff, and a mostly clean restaurant. We were looking for a Vietnamese restaurant, but out of ease ended up going for this pizza restaurant based on the good reviews and a recommendation. If you want some basic western food, it’s a good spot to eat at, but don’t expect the world.
Food: The spaghetti dish reminded us of our student days, and the pizza was acceptable (first cheese in two weeks went down a treat!). I’m not sure what Italians would think of the food, but for Italian food in East Asia, I would say it’s alright. We found the dishes more expensive than a Vietnamese dinner, with the pasta dishes being 100-150k VND and the pizzas generally being around 150-200k VND on average. I guess it’s because ingredients are imported and typically customers only order 1 dish each. I would love for the owner to confirm how the pizza dough is made (whether it’s store-bought from the freezer or freshly made?). Portion sizes were on the smaller side for the pasta, pizzas are 27cm in diameter with a medium crust.
Service: The staff are incredibly friendly and respectful, they explained the size of the pizza before ordering and communicating with them in English was simple enough.
Atmosphere: Some lovely decor and mostly clean, this restaurant is certainly better than most. They lost a star for the large patch of mould on the wall, it would be great to address this in the future. This could have been related to the poor weather and typhoon that recently hit...
Read moreWe found this pizza delivery place on google maps with many good reviews, and we were not disappointed – it was one of the best meals we had on our trip and helps the cravings if you need a break from Vietnamese food. We walked to the shop to get a bit of exercise, but you might as well call or order on their website (link is on google maps overview). They can deliver to your hostel / hotel and you can pay cash on delivery. At the restaurant are some tables and seats a bit away from the main road so you can also sit there in peace and enjoy your meal. The owners are such a lovely couple, very friendly and speak perfect English so there is no problem with communication 😊 The menu has pizza and pasta, and includes vegetarian choices. You can order the pizza in two sizes, we had L as we were hungry and it was perfect amount. Great idea is the rolled pizza – especially if you order to your hotel – it keeps hot for a long time, and is easy to eat also in a hotel bed 😉 haha. The French fries were also super fresh and delicious, as is the homemade spicy sauce for that extra kick 😃 So 100% recommendation, easy to order, delicious to eat. Go and support this lovely couple and their "Pizza...
Read morethis spot is decent. they dont have tabasco sauce but they do have their own chilli sauce which was kinda similar - had its spicy and sour elements
this spot got minus a star for giving us the "western" menu despite being vietnamese we noticed the other table had fried chicken but our menu didnt. the waiter said the chicken is from outside.
so we ordered our pizza and pasta. later another couple comes in and they order the fried chicken!!! we ask again to the waiter how they ordered the fried chicken to which they advised "oh you had the western menu, they ordered from the vietnamese menu"
slightly infuriated we reviewed the menu, and literally the only difference between the viet and western menu was the addition of fried chicken! how is fried chicken not available for westerners? and what annoys me more was the fact we enquired about it to begin with and they told us it was from outside!!!!!
long story short - if you want the fried chicken (and u dont see it on ur menu) just ask for...
