I had a very early flight to Hanoi and couldn't check into my hotel (another one in Hanoi's West Lake) until about 3pm so my wife and I needed another decent hotel to relax and spend a few hours in. This was all I wanted. So after a lot of searching I found HOTEL HAAP TRANSIT, my opinion about the hotel, please note that this is not a five or three star hotel, the cost for a night stay is only around 2500 rupees so consider my review from that perspective...... super friendly staff 10/10, English speaking issue is 3/10 but if you have google translate it becomes 10/10, free breakfast is 1/6 (this is because they really only have 6 items to offer out of which you can only eat bread and eggs) for vegetarians you might have a problem)...... huge room area, huge bathroom with bathtub, room cleanliness (9/10), no bad smell in the room, well kept, bathroom and bed linen (10/10) as they are washed and well kept, great Wi-Fi (10/10), basic amenities are average water, kettle, toiletries, mini fridge, tv what more could you ask for at this price, late check out request at 2pm instead of 12am, I happily gave it without hesitation and no extra charge, thank you (this could happen as the room may not have been booked yet). The bathroom has a transparent glass wall (although there is a curtain for privacy) so guests with children may have to be a little careful. Otherwise, I had a great stay, I would recommend this hotel...
Read moreOur stay at Haap Transit Hotel in Hanoi was truly excellent. From the moment we arrived, the service and the staff's treatment were exceptional. They managed our arrival impeccably, making us feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning.
One of the most remarkable experiences was the ease with which the hotel organized our dinner late at night at the restaurant next door. We arrived late and were worried about finding a place to eat, but thanks to the staff's efficiency and friendliness, we were able to enjoy a delicious meal without any inconvenience.
The rooms were wonderful, perfect for a good rest after a long day of travel. They were comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything necessary to ensure a relaxing stay.

Read moreit is a great place if you’ve a transit. the room is clean. they say lake view on booking but there’s no lake. if you wanna crash, this is a great option. we booked a bigger room, it had good space.
wi-fi can be better. the breakfast is okay, nothing fancy. the food options nearby are typical vietnamese cuisine. you get a local experience if you want to add that into your book.
if you’re a vegetarian, it maybe challenging. the language also is an issue if you’re not a native speaker.
a family runs the hotel, and the couple takes shifts, the woman speaks good english. she’s helpful.
