We stayed at the Sunny whilst visiting our daughter who was living in the area. Talk about a hidden gem you would be pushed to find it on your own and I would definitely recommend booking a cab thr ugh the hotel when you arrive as they know where to take you. We actually stayed in two rooms and both were perfect. We stayed 4 nights, travelled to Tam Coc for the weekend and then stayed a last night before flying out again. ||Über is epic in Vietnam and although the hotel was out of the centre an Uber cost about £1 to the centre. The area is quiet compared to the city centre and the hotel looks out over a man made lake in a little back street so we had no noise issues at all. ||Breakfast was traditional Vietnamese and delish. Always hot and plentiful. The freshly made omelettes were a real treat. ||All in all we had a marvellous stay. The staff were friendly and spoke really good English and as a base to visit the area it was amazing value for money and really great quality. However when I leaving for the airport staff could not find a record of my payment and they held me for 30 minutes, I almost missed my flight!!
