My stay at the Halios Halong Hotel was undoubtedly a positive experience. The excellent location of the hotel allowed me to easily access all the attractions and activities in the area. Furthermore, the internet was of high quality and reliability, which was crucial for both my business and leisure trips.

The outstanding aspect of my stay was unquestionably the excellent service I enjoyed. I would like to particularly mention Anna, who was extremely attentive and helpful throughout my entire stay. Anna went above and beyond to ensure that all my requests, questions, and even potential issues were addressed promptly and efficiently. Her care and professionalism made my stay truly memorable. One of the most noteworthy things Anna did for me was independently plan my departure schedule, ensuring that I could enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the morning and still make it to the airport in time for my flight. This was extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I must mention that the breakfast selection was somewhat limited. While the quality of the food was good, I would have preferred a greater variety of options to cater to different tastes. Additionally, the promised garden view was quite disappointing. However, these were the only minor drawbacks in an otherwise outstanding stay.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Halios Halong Hotel, especially due to the exceptional service provided by Anna and the entire staff, as well as the excellent location and internet connection. This hotel is located in the Hon Gai area of ​​Halong Bay. I thought the white Western-style exterior was nice, so I booked a suite room because I wanted to stay in a room with a round bed, but we ended up in a room with a normal twin bed. They told me that room’s air conditioner broke. But there was no explanation at check-in, and I only found out after we entered the room and asked the front desk. The room I booked was a corner room, but the room I was assigned only had one small window. The moment I entered, it was humid and smelled moldy. Moreover, as shown in the photo, the balcony was littered with masks and cigarette butts from previous guests. The towels were not folded neatly from the beginning, and there were still used shampoo bottles on the floor, which put me off. There was also a big stain on the TV screen, as shown in the picture. I think the hotel here is not cleaned well overall. We had no choice but to take a long bath to change our mood, but the hot water from the bathtub faucet spilled out of the bathtub like in the movie, and the floor gradually became wet, so I we couldn't relax. There were also other things common in other three-star hotels, such as no room wear, only a hand shower, and a non-smart TV. It didn't have the qualities of a suite at all.

The breakfast was also the worst of the more than 40 hotels we stayed at in Vietnam this time as shown in the picture. I don't understand at all why the reviews are so high. All in all, it was a disappointing hotel that was more than what it seemed.

The hotel is quite centrally located, which is not far from restaurants and a short drive to the shopping centre.
