Mai Chau Tropical Homestay — Hotel in Hoà Bình province

Mai Chau tropical homestay is a comfortable, quiet, and accommodating place to stay while exploring Main Chau and Lac Village. We booked 2 rooms for a 3 day weekend birthday trip- it was fantastic and Di, the owner and host, took excellent care of us, going above and beyond in hospitality

The rooms are simple but well built and modern. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathrooms clean. *The hot water heater was a bit small, but it heats up fast and has excellent pressure. Morning breakfasts were simple and filling. There was always hot tea available. Instant coffee is also available.

The location is tucked just far enough away from the main road that you can forget it's there, but it's a short bike ride to get anywhere here (and Di has many bikes you can borrow for free)

What sets this stay apart and truly earns the 5* is the lengths that Di went to help us celebrate the weekend. We had a family style dinner, complete with cake, sparklers, candles, and family/friends coming to share rice wine with us. What a...

La chica que lo regenta es muy amable sin saber inglés te ofrece su amabilidad. Ella siempre con amplia sonrisa y relajada. Pusimos lavadoras 20.000 el kilo pero no sabemos si usan jabón porque la ropa estaba sucia y con olor ( ejem) pero nos sirvió para seguir usándola. No habiendo otra opción resulta de ayuda y cómodo, un apañito… El desayuno es un huevo frito con pan y unas rodajas de fruta. Olor constante a higuera dnd queman basura como en todo el país así que si tienes problemas respiratorios piénsatelo.. Preguntamos por actividades pero nos dijo que preguntásemos en el pueblo, creemos que por su carencia idiomatica. Nos pidió un taxi por 100.000 al pueblo mau chai ( andando no está lejos pero con las mochilas es más cómodo así). La cena 80.000 unos nuggets pollo caseros con arroz y patatas fritas. No había muchas opciones todas parecidas. La habitación recién construida o eso parece aun restos de obra por todo como es habitual en Vietnam. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien, y ventilador también. El baño se atascó desde el primer uso pero les pedimos un desatascador y solucionamos el tema nosotros. 2 ngày ngắn ngủi cuối tuần nhưng đọng lại là một kỳ nghỉ đáng nhớ, một nơi bình yên, rất sinh thái gần gũi thiên nhiên. Homestay được thiết kế gần gũi với thiên nhiên núi, rừng với đặc trưng là vật liệu tre và đá. Có bể bơi vừa xinh để các bạn nhỏ có những phút vui chơi, đùa nghịch thoả thích với nước. Tuy nhiên, không cần thiết làm phần bể nước sâu quá, có khi trên 1m7. Nhóm gia đình chúng tôi ở căn villa cho mỗi gia đình. Phòng ốc sạch sẽ, không quá tiện nghi như khách sạn, không có TV, tủ lạnh nhưng thực tế là không cần những vật này vì đến đây đi thăm các nơi, ngắm cảnh là chính. Nhân viên phục vụ rất nhiệt tình.
