Mai Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Found this hotel because of past trip advisors recommendations. Mai Villa Airport Hotel shows as a 3 Star Hotel but don’t be deceived as service and room is more quality than I expected. ||Jessi and Anna were great on the front desk and my compliments to them for|Making my 4 day stay very nice. They go out|Of their way to make your stay pleasant. ||The GM is hands on and also very accommodating.||Best of all the price I believe is around $ 27 USD per night and very hard to beat for a close to airport location with quality bedding and very clean hotel. We chose this hotel due to the proximity to the airport, and it is indeed! If you have heavy luggage and prefer, its very easy (and cheaper) to pick a "vinasun corp" taxi - from and to the airport! We had a bad experience with a requested transport to the airport, and when we couldn't wait any longer, and after having paid for it, we just grabbed one of many passing in front of the hotel. We had an immediate apology from the management, and things hopefully, were sorted out the way we requested. |Was a short stay so can't say much. Breakfast wasn't amazing, bed was comfortable. Stayed here for one night as near airport Room was more than adequate clean and comfortable bed Bathroom was small but perfectly usable We did not suffer from noise that others suggested even though we had a room that looked out over main road in front of hotel Breakfast in the morning was good with choice of warm dishes and buffet for fruit bread and few other items Before we stayed I asked the cost of the hotel meeting us at the airport and was quoted a price of 200000 dong which I suggested to them was expensive In the end used a meter taxi and the cost either way was 40000 dong I would stay here again if I needed a hotel...
