🪷Feedback from a 4-night guest at Ana Mandara Resort🌴 Here are some strengths and areas for improvement I experienced during my stay. I hope this helps future guests have an even better experience. <Strengths of Ana Mandara Resort> 1. 🏩World-class service: Even when checking out before midnight, the resort kindly prepared a meal box. Complimentary 24-hour airport pick-up and drop-off service is available. At check-in, guests are welcomed with homemade iced tea and yogurt. When I injured my foot, a nurse disinfected and treated the wound. The staff also called directly once the room was ready for early check-in. 2. 🍳Breakfast: The breakfast hours are generous, the menu changes daily, and live music is provided. 3. 🙏🏻Hospitality: All staff members, including facility and landscaping staff, are friendly and greet guests with a smile. 4. 🪷Landscaping: Tropical trees and flowers are beautifully maintained. The gardens are well-kept, and the lotus flowers are especially lovely. 5. 🌴Nature-friendly environment: Mornings start with the sound of birds. But noisy💥 6. 🛁Room amenities: Every room has a bathtub, complimentary fruit, evening chocolate service, and traditional Vietnamese hats (Nón Lá). 7. 🛟Safety: The resort feels secure, with no external intruders. 8. 🏝️Private beach: Shallow and relatively safe waters, with no dangerous marine animals. 9. 👙Swimming pool: Staff inflate pool floats for guests, sunbeds are free, and food and drinks are reasonably priced.🥥 10. 🧘‍♀️Activities: Yoga on the lawn, swimming lessons, and other diverse programs are available. ⸻ Areas for Improvement: 1. Swimming pool safety: Many guests, including myself, injured toes on pool tiles. Knees can also get scraped when climbing out without stairs. Additionally, most staff outside the reception desk cannot communicate in English. 2. Cleanliness: New bed pads had sand and small gravel on them, which was surprising. 3. Shower booth: The showerhead in the villa was not properly fixed to its holder. + Water quality: The water quality is not very good; providing shower filters in the bathrooms would greatly improve guest comfort. 4. Drinking water: Currently served in glass bottles; it would be more convenient in sealed plastic bottles. 5. Balcony doors: No mosquito screens are installed. 6. Yoga class: The class was announced as one hour but lasted only 30 minutes. It would be better if the actual duration matched the announcement. 7. Refrigerators: All refrigerators (in Buildings A, B, and villas) had a very unpleasant odor. 8. Bath amenities: Rooms in Building B did not have bath salts, unlike other accommodations. 9. Slippery floors: The poolside and restroom marble floors are very slippery. Adding more non-slip mats or replacing with non-slip flooring would improve safety. 10. Villa pool area: Too many ants around the pool, which suggests cleaning is insufficient.

If you're looking for the perfect getaway, look no further than Ana Mandara hotel and resort in Cam Ranh. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty by the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Sue Nguyen, one of the managers in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met during our stay. Her kindness and attention to detail really made our trip unforgettable. The resort itself is simply stunning. Set against a backdrop of lush greenery and overlooking a pristine white sand beach, it's the ultimate tropical paradise. We spent our days lounging by the pool, taking long walks on the beach, and indulging in some of the amazing activities on offer. Whatever your interests, there's something for everyone here. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Salvatore, the head chef and manager, is a true master of his craft. We enjoyed some delicious meals and drinks and Salvatore himself took the time to come and chat with us about our experience every day. His passion for food and dedication to his guests is truly inspiring. Finally, we have to mention our pool villa. It was absolutely amazing. Spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, it was the perfect home away from home. We loved spending lazy afternoons lounging on the terrace, taking in the stunning views and enjoying the peace and quiet. All in all, we had an absolutely incredible time at Ana Mandara hotel and resort. It's the perfect destination for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and indulge in a little luxury. We can't recommend it highly enough, and we can't wait to go back!

I am not satisfied with the quality of service at Ana Mandara Cam Ranh. 1. The receptionist is not friendly and welcoming to customers. Most of the staff here are not well-trained how to response the guests. 2. The restaurant staffs are not observant, I looked at them and waited for a while to get their attention. 3. Fresh milk at the breakfast counter had dirt when I poured it out. 4. After breakfast, there was no free milk. I wanted to order some fresh milk, and was charged 60.000 vnd for a very small cup of milk instead of an unopened bottle. 5. Staffs serving during the breakfast buffet, came and took my dishes on the table away without asking. The staffs often gathered and had conversations in the uncleaned dish counter. 6. Till 9am, there is still no cleaning staff in the swimming pool area. The women toilet was very dirty, the trash was full of toilet papers and cockroaches. 7. The room does not have a door separating the toilet and the bedroom, if you go to the toilet, the whole room will smell bad. 8. When checking out, they moved in the conference room instead of lobb, the staff asked me to sit and wait without any notification about how long the wait would be. I had to wait for 15 mins until my friend called a staff to ask for updates. I won't come back.

The service is sometimes four star, sometimes one star, so average to 2.

Four star bits: staff generally friendly, smile, breakfast is good.

One star: the checkout process is like being at the DMV, or a refugee camp. Picture attached, but they make you wait in a big room sitting on chairs for your number to be called while they inspect your room to make sure you didn't drink a $3 bottle of water. We had to wait for ten minutes plus. I've never seen a hotel with this setup.

One star: they charge 200,000 vnd to rent a pool floatie. This is roughly five times the cost of buying one.

One star: they had a flyer advertising a promotion for body massages, and, I quote directly, an additional 20% off spa services booked 24 hours after arrival. After booking they refused the 20 percent, and this staff member got literally angry with me. When I asked her if she could understand my confusion and showed her the flyer, she started to raise her voice at me. On the plus side this was quite apropros of their refugee camp ambiance.

Four star: the spa manager interceded and apologized for their poorly designed flyer. She wasn't able to honor the promotion but she at least acknowledged my basic humanity.

One star: on check in they asked if I was . I said no. Then the woman showed me a picture of this person's passport, and asked me if I was sure. Yes, I think I am sure. I feel like the staff overall prioritizes their own personal convenience over that of the guests. She sighed annoyedly as she had to refile the papers of some other Korean person, and then asked me my name, then asked me to write my name, and then didn't look at it.

Four star: beach access, and soft sand.

One star: the rooms have a really strange bathroom setup, where you're basically outside. My wife was scared to use the bathroom during the entire stay, because you feel quite exposed. You can also hear and be heard by adjacent guests. I've been to a six senses with the same setup, and it worked. Here it doesn't, it just makes you feel like you need to poop as fast and discreetly as possible.

The hotel is overall fine but is a little poorly planned. Things are just a little too far away from each other, hallways are dusty and covered in leaves, walls are dirty, there aren't enough sunbeds, and there are Halloween decorations in early August, which I suspect are remnant of a Halloween long past. (Unless there's some link between fuzzy spiders and wooden whales which I'm missing.) Service is sometimes attentive, and sometimes you have to sit there and ask for a menu at the poolside restaurant ten minutes after sitting down, and then go back to place your order. Something about how everything works just doesn't seem thought through fully. It just feels like a fake Rolex. From far away it looks and seems like the real thing, but up close...

Our family truly loved the lush greenery – this is the resort with the most trees in Cam Ranh. |On a special occasion, we were gifted an afternoon tea and given a room perfectly arranged for our family. |The resort’s welcome team was very warm and relaxed, and our daughter absolutely loved the black sticky rice yogurt 😊😊. |Since we arrived early, while waiting for the room, the staff guided us to join in the resort’s activities, which made our experience even more valuable. Trust me, Mr. Robert Hải will help you with all your arrangements and schedule.|Although it was only our first day here, everyone – from Trọng Lưu, the electric car driver, to Cindy, the resort manager – made us feel so comfortable and friendly, as if we had stayed here before, as if we were at home. |This made every moment of our stay so relaxing.|In the afternoon, since my husband was busy taking care of our baby was resting, he couldn’t go for afternoon tea. |The restaurant manager thoughtfully sent it up to our room along with the dish we had pre-ordered – such a surprising, delicate gesture that moved me to tears.|Ah, the Fish and Chips! My child said it was the most delicious they had ever had – so good that they ordered it twice.|The main swimming pool is like a work of art.||In the evening, when we returned from dinner, the receptionist introduced us to a live music program happening at one of the restaurants. This showed us even more clearly how much they care about connecting and creating a full experience for their guests from beginning to end.|Even my friends who came to visit were treated with warmth, friendliness, and care. The service prices were very reasonable, and Mr. Hiển from the restaurant made us feel that the value we received was far beyond what we expected.||I found the management here to be very smart. The resort is perfect for walking, as the surrounding greenery makes it so pleasant to stroll around. At the same time, electric carts are always ready whenever you need them. other resorts where waiting for a buggy can be an issue, here it’s always quick and convenient. On top of that, they also provide bicycles for both adults and children – such an impressive touch, and my child absolutely loved it.||The Kid’s Club also had many fun activities that our child loved.||Among so many choices, it’s impossible to forget Anamandara – a place that truly makes a difference in your experience. Every moment here felt meaningful, and we felt at home from start to finish. From the reception to the restaurant, from the Kid’s Club staff to the electric car drivers from the staff to the manager– everyone was consistent, attentive, and wholehearted. Just like their welcome greeting says:...
