Wow, wow, WOW, it’s hard to put in words how amazing this place was for us. We originally booked three nights and ended up staying for 17 days! First off the staff is absolutely phenomenal. They were one of the main reasons why this place was so special for us. Soooo kind, so helpful, big smiles every time we walked into the lobby and just going above and beyond for us at all times. The views are like a romance movie, there are butterflies, rice fields and flowers everywhere and it was just a relaxing vibe. They even have a pool which was very well maintained. They offer an impressive free breakfast which we never missed because it was so good. The cocktails are also delicious! Since we stayed for so long and kept extending we basically slept in every room they offer and every single one of them was great. The drive from Sapa was about 15-25 minutes via motorbike (depending on how you drive) but the views are amazing. They offer pick ups for 300,000 dong one way and even have motorbikes for rent. I wasn’t feeling well a few days in and I asked one of the staff members if they knew anyone who could do a traditional Cạo gió / Giác hơi on me and one of the staff members mother ( Mamma Cucu ) came over did it for me and I felt so grateful to be able to experience it. You can also book treks with the locals here and it’s a great help to the community. This place was heaven for us and we will be back. It was so hard to leave. If I could give it 10/5 stars I would....
Read moreThis is homestay with friendly helpful staff, a good breakfast, an amazing location, deluxe rooms with amazing views and a lovely swimming pool. The team are always smiling and the gardeners keep the grounds looking lovely. It's very close to being 5* in all areas, with only a few things to improve on (or areas to highlight to customers):
The location is stunning, but be aware that it's 20-30 minutes outside sapa. This means you need a scooter, or you'll be paying 300k for each taxi (which the homestay can book for you). The road to the homestay has a few tricky bits, so if you aren't confident on a scooter, make sure to arrive during the day, when it will be easier to ride.
They have a good little bar, with lots of options, cold beer, etc. The even do room service, which is a nice touch. The only thing to be aware of is that the food comes slowly, and sometimes cold, so plan on it taking an hour to arrive after ordering.
We upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe (only ~$5 more). The standard (shared bathroom) room on Agoda shows it having a shower, a mosquito net and A/C. It doesn't have any of these, so keep this in mind if booking a standard room. The deluxe is lovely, with a super comfortable bed, good A/C and stunning views over the valley to the mountains.
As long as you keep these points in mind, it's definitely worth a visit.
We even saw fireflies on a walk down to a local restaurant.....so many in the fields....super cool...
Read moreI loved this place - one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed! The team - Huy-En, Lee, Ling are delightful; super kind, calm and helpful.
The location is outstanding, high above a Muong village you get a fantastic view of the valley and mountains and village life below. Very quiet at night.
Rooms are very clean, fresh towels daily, lots of seating all around. Nothing more you could want. Has a nice pool for chilling, good breakfast included.
It is about 30 mins from Sapa which means getting a bike to go see/do stuff but it’s a beautiful ride so not a problem for me but if you aren’t up for scootering you will be more limited for dinner options etc. personally I think there’s enough walking and chilling to be done it’s not a necessity.
Only downside is the dinner food we had wasn’t great and the menu fairly limited.
Overall there’s a feeling of generosity in the hospitality here - water refills and coffee all included.
Would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone!
Thank you to the team for such a...
