Aside from the very upsetting hospitality, a very bizarre thing happened when we checked out, they said that the tv remote control went missing, and claimed that we took it. First of all, we have no reason to steal a tv remote control, we are here for a holiday we only stayed in the hotel to sleep not to watch tv so we didn’t even touch nor think about using the television. The case that was holding the remote control was just lying on the table and none of us even noticed it. Second of all, they did not provide any evidence of the remote being there before we moved in and forced us to pay 650k vnd or else they wouldn’t let us leave. The whole time they were talking to our my Vietnamese friends and they wouldn’t communicate with me in English because I don’t speak Vietnamese. Absolutely pathetic that front counter receptionists of a hotel don’t speak English! How do they serve international travellers with this education! They simply just pretended like they don’t speak English! They just didn’t want to communicate with me! The whole time they refused to talk to me! Worst hospitality service received everrrrrr!!!!!!! Aside from this bizarre situation, just talking about the stay, the service was also very very upsetting. They only had half a roll of toilet paper in the room when we first moved in, how is that supposed to be enough! Also when we asked for another pillow, again, the receptionist could speak English but he didn’t know what a pillow was! Absolutely pathetic! Don’t recommend never stay at this hotel just in case you get scammed...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Muong Thanh Grand Hotel Nha Trang, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, offering modern amenities while still retaining a sense of local charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and offer stunning views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. The location is perfect—close enough to the city center to explore easily, yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind.
What truly set this experience apart, however, was the outstanding service provided by the staff, particularly Yén, the bellman. Yén went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From helping with luggage to providing insightful recommendations on local attractions, his attention to detail and genuine care for guests did not go unnoticed.
Yén's exceptional service is a testament to his dedication and professionalism. He made me feel not just like a guest, but like a valued friend. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Yén and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. May he continue to excel in his career and find success in all that he does.
I highly recommend Muong Thanh Grand Hotel Nha Trang to anyone visiting the area. It offers not just a place to stay, but a truly memorable experience, made even better by the wonderful people like Yén who...
Read moreWe’ve stayed in Muong Thang hotels in the past and always enjoyed are stays, our 1st time in this hotel did not disappoint, its set in a quieter location in the northern part of Nha Trang, quiet that was so very welcome after previously staying in the crazy busy centre, we had a high room with great mountain view, we were offered a sea view but decided on the mountains for a change. |The front desk staff including Ms Ling and Miss Ni were just wonderful and so very helpful at all times of the day. The hotel is well presented with a grand entrance hall; our room was a good size with comfortable but slightly old furnishings. We felt able to relax and enjoy our time here, there’s an electric bus running every 15 mins along the full seafront length costing 15.000 VND (45 pence approx), small local outside shops that are well priced and friendly. |The breakfast was a good quality, but with average service and uninterested staff that spent most of their time looking at phones, a request for fresh coffee did not go down well. |I would 100% recommend this hotel, it’s not a sparking palace but it’s quiet, cozy and comfortable with friendly...
