Tam Cốc Min House — Hotel in Ninh Bình Province

I won't recommend. We booked a room for 2 nights through Agoda. We came at around 9am and asked if we could check in early. The receptionist said yes. So we went to our previous hotel which is next door 20mts away (I told receptionist that we were staying there currently, but they were fully booked, so we had to move to Tam coc min house) we came back with our luggage to check in, and it changed to 80000dong for early check-in. So we went back to our previous hotel. We waited till 2pm and came back again to check-in, but they didn't have rooms. I assume that somebody paid for early check-in and they gave our room to them. They didn't come to the next door hotel 20 meters away, they didn't send us any message through Agoda, or they didn't even cancel the booking....

We loved our time at Min House. The owner was really nice & friendly. We miss her cute little 3 year old daughter Humy (I could be spelling it wrong). It's a nice place run by a woman with two little kids. The room was spacious. The bathroom was clean. You don’t have much of a view from the room but right across the corridor you get a terrace surrounded by mountains. She offers breakfast which is really cheap & delicious compared to other places in tam coc. She offered us lunch on the day we were leaving tam coc. I wish we didn’t need to catch the bus to Sapa & could have lunch there. After riding a bike whole day, exploring waterfalls, caves, lotus lakes & everything, it felt really nice to relax in the swimming pool out in the front every night. I definitely recommend this place. Say hi to Humy from Sk if you are there. We miss them. তামকক মিন হাউজ এর রুমগুলো বড়, পরিস্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন। হোমস্টের মহিলা দুইজন ছোট ছোট বাচ্চা নিয়ে পুরোটা বাসার দেখভাল করে। বড় বাচ্চার নাম হামি। মেয়েটা খুবই কিউট। আপনি রুম থেকে খুব একটা পাহাড় দেখতে পারবেন না, কিন্তু সিড়ির পাশেই বারান্দায় বসলে আপনার চারপাশে পাহাড়ের আবেষ্টন পাবেন। এখানে বসার জন্যে চেয়ার টেবিল দেওয়া আছে। ভদ্রমহিলা কম খরচে সকালের নাস্তা দেয়। আমরা যেদিন চলে আসবো সেদিন আমাদেরকে দুপুরের খাবারের অফার করেছিলেন, বাস ধরতে হবে তাই তার সাথে দুপুরের খাবার খাওয়ার সৌভাগ্য হয়নি। সারাদিন বাইকে পাহাড়, জংগল, ঝর্ণা, মন্দিরে ঘোরাঘুরি করে রাতের বেলা বাসার সামনের সুইমিং পুলে নেমে নিরিবিলি পরিবেশে বেশ প্রশান্তি কাজ করতো। ভদ্রমহিলার আতিথেয়তা, তামককের সৌন্দর্য আর বাচ্চাগুলোকে মিস করি আমরা। আপনারা তামককে গেলে অবশ্যই মিন হাউজে উঠবেন আর যদি উঠেন তাহলে আমার হয়ে "হামি" কে শিন...

Fabulous homestay, great location in Tamcoc a few minutes ride to Ninhbinh destinations likely Bird Park, Bich Dong Pagoda, Nang Valley, Mua Cave and Trang An. After traveling for nearly 2 hours from Hanoi, we arrived to Min House. The homestay was lovely, very clean and comfortable, which had a great mountain view in peaceful Goi village.
