A Perfect Slice of Paradise – Thank You Minh and Son!
We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Gold Sand Beach bungalow. From the moment we arrived, Minh and Son went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was exceptional – warm, genuine, and truly caring. Minh in particular made sure every detail of our stay was perfect, even bringing us delicious local fruits to try and offering to drive us wherever we needed to go.
The food was another highlight – cooked to order by Son and full of flavor. Breakfasts were fantastic, especially the coffee, and every meal was freshly made with care to our spec- even some non menu items were created for us.
The hotel’s location is stunning – peaceful and serene, a world away from the busy cities we visited during our Vietnam tour. We were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful beach all to ourselves, with calm, clear water perfect for swimming.
The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable with good air conditioning , and honestly, the setting, the amazing food, and the incredible staff make it more than worthwhile. Just a short 10-minute drive to Grand World, it’s ideally located for exploring while still offering true relaxation.
Nature lovers will enjoy the local wildlife – we spotted giant tokay geckos, large toads, and lots of little lizards and geckos darting around outside, adding a unique charm to the resort.
Minh and Son made this a truly special stay. Their kindness and dedication made us feel less like guests and more like family. Thank you both for an...

We were picked up in the airport by Minh, and then later greeted by Son and staff at the homestay. Best people we met in Vietnam so far, they are truly happy, trusting and calm people and they instill this energy in the place effectively.
It's kinda remote and there are only few staff around. You over food in and service well in advance, because they are not equipped to deliver things to you immediately. We didn't fully understand this at first, but once we had understood "how to live there" it was just incredibly tranquil and relaxing.
The beach is perfect, they clean the place every day. It's closed off and very safe. We traveled here with two small kids and some friends that also had their kids with them, and after a few days we just let the kids roam around freely. We haven't found a place like Gold Sand since we left, and are sure to come back at some point.
Some tips: Order your meals in advance. Order driving in advance. Their prices are same or cheaper than Grab. The place is remote and many Grab drivers will cancel when they realize where the homestay is (the last km of the road is very bumpy). Not a party place. Come here to chill. Perfect for families with kids. Be kind to the owners and their staff, they deserve it because they are...

Do contact the resort for a hotel pickup, as it's unlikely a taxi driver knows where to find this - the road here is not even paved yet! The nearest town is about half an hour drive from here - there's no convenient store nearby, so do bring all your necessities. The staff is very helpful and friendly, but not overly eager nor intrusive - which was exactly what I needed. Food is decent, and the menu is more or less only for reference - ask for what you'd like to have in advance and they would arrange it. Free kayak which you can take to expore the nearby beaches and to see the sunset - not that their own private beach isn't beautiful, it's just a little small and stiff. If you kayak out another 2-3km, the beaches is even better, and deserted. The beach in this area is clean, almost no rubbish coming in from the sea nor from people leaving them behind (considering there are not many people that are willing to go this far out). I love how thoughtful this place was designed - just the right amount of greens, and each room is private without being stuffy. Overall I can't sing enough praises, but I must say it's a steal and I hope they prosper...
