Phu Quynh Hotel — Hotel in Phan Rang–Tháp Chàm City

We had very few options to pick so we ended up staying here for a day.

Price was afforable. The big room, as shown in photos, with 3 huge beds was about 270,000 VND/ day.

However, it was not very well furnished. The wardrobe was quite small comparing to the room (normally, big room goes with huge wardrobe due to the great number of people). Bathroom had no toiletries, and the faucet looked corroded. The faucet turned out to actually be faulty, since there was no water running out of it!

We complained to the reception by dialling them using the number indicated on the hotel’s contact instruction. We could not even talk to them since the line was busy most of the time. That pissed me off because we had to climb down 4 floors to actually be able to talk to the receptionist.

Speaking of floors, this hotel had neither elevator nor escalator. We got the room on the 4th floor, so we had to carry our luggages all the way to the room. It was frustrating.

I assume this hotel is more of a residence than an actual hotel. There were multiple decors in our room which I found quite unnecessary, since there was a lack of furniture and toiletries.

However, service was quite good. The receptionist was welcoming and attentive, yet...

Great room for a great price, clean and modern.... only problem was they lost our passports!!! We stupidly gave them in while checking into the room (never do this, learn from our mistake and make them take a picture or make a copy of it!) we spent almost 3 hours waiting around while the owner checked the cctv... he girl who checked us in was adamant she gave them back to us, she didn’t.

Thankfully a gentleman came into reception asking what was going on and said he got his passports back after checking in... he then checked the passports and they were ours!!!! Call it dumb luck or fate, I don’t know but someone was watching over us that...

This hotel is clean and good location for night market, restaurant and new district building all walking distance. A good value for money.

No coffee, tea available in room. They do have hot water pot but do not furnish cups.

The five days I was there hot water sometimes for bathing. No hot water in wash basin for shaving.

Cleaning of room was sometimes not done daily even after asking was not cleaned or two days.

Staff friendly and tries to help.
