Very nice hotel, which is 4 star, is mainly oriented to Korean and Chinese guests. The territory’s quite well decorated and clean. Flowers and nice trees are all around. The waterfall is very relaxing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel service is very good. Our studio was clean and neat. |The main plus is that this hotel has studio format rooms (bedroom and kitchen at the same room). Kitchenette is very nice equipped and you can cook your own meals from fresh seafood, which is very common in this area. Not many hotels can provide their guests kitchen corner, so Melon is one of the best in it. |Unfortunately, the hotel is quite suburban and you should walk about half an hour to reach some Mui Ne attractions or simply get a taxi. Melon has its own beach, but we didn’t try it during our stay. |Sad to say, but the hotel lives hard times. There were not so many guests and it was quite lonely (for us it was +) The hotel restaurant is very expensive and the food is bad. Besides, if you want to order some food to the room, there was no such possibility during our stay. Receptionist asked us to go to the hotel lobby/restaurant area and order food there. |Staff speaks english quite bad. |To sum up, we liked out stay there and can recommend this place for...
Read moreAs I write this review I am 5 nights in to a 14 night stay at Melon Resort with my wife and son (22 months old). We were a little worried about bringing our son so far from home but it has been wonderful from the start. The staff are wonderful and very friendly, always smiling. My son is very popular around the resort and he is able to play lots in the shallow pool and children's play area. The pool is very picturesque with plenty of shade for those who want it. The pool bar is great too with a nice seating area and views of the sea. Although the hotel is not on the sea they offer a free ride to the beach which is just a couple of minutes away. The restaurant is very good with a mixed range of Vietnamese, other Asian food and some western food also. Prices are reasonable. Rooms are a good size with all the resources needed including wi-fi although the signal is weak. The resort is quiet due to rainy season but perfect for my family as we see very few other guests. Staff are always very busy cleaning and maintaining the lovely grounds. The owner treated my wife and I to a meal for our 8th wedding anniversary dinner too which was extremely generous. We would recommend this...
Read moreI had a trip with my big family, 23 members, we stayed in 5 rooms, double and triple. My room, number 2243, was opposite with the swimming pool, beach view (from very far). The room was very nice, clean but got the awful toilet smell, I though we just spent one night there so I did not need to ask to change the room but it spearded all night and I could not sleep. I had two children and very poor for them. I opened the toilet window but it still could not deal with the smell. We got the problem with the water while we took shower as well, it turned off suddenly and we had to wait for 15 minutes. I never want to come back this resort again.||||Otherwise, the resort is far to the beach, we have to ask for the car there and it take over 5 minutes. The resort is opposite with the beach but it belongs to Victoria resort. The problem was that we had to call for the driver to pick up when we wanted to go back to the hotel, I don't why but the driver declined my phone for two times and we walked back.||||The swimming pool looks smaller than in the picture, the food is ok,...
