COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM!!

We had high hopes of this place after reading the fantastic reviews online, but unfortunately for our stay it turned out to be a nightmare. We were going to stay two nights at the Hotel and we were asked if we wanted to upgrade the room for an extra fee of 200 000vnd per night with a very nice room next to the pool. We agreed to this, but the room that met us was far away from nice. They had sent us picture of the nighboor room that looked way better and had no bugs in it.

The bed sheets were not clean, it looked like it had old blood stains on it. The bed had also small ants under the sheets.

In the bathroom the mousquitos and other creatures had free access to enter. It didn’t have any window but a big open hole out into the garden covered with chicken wire which had a big hole in one corner.

The room smelled weird, but we soon figured out why. They had a big problem with cockroaches, and had probably sprayed down the entire room before arrival.

We had several cockroaches in our room, and I called in early morning after the first night. Then they said that the cleaning staff would look at it. When we came back to the room in the afternoon, they had removed the cockroach we had under a glass, and the room had an even worse smell. We though the problem was solved, but right after dinner when we went back to the room, we had one running over the floor. We called the reception again, and they sent a lady to remove it and spray even more bug spray around the room. Again we thought the problem was solved, but no. When we were about to go to bed, I wanted to look the door before we went to sleep, and one cockroach was sitting on the lock and I touch it. Honestly then I just wanted to check out. I called the recepion again, by this time it was 12.30am, and then they sent two men to spray down the entire room again and remove the cockroach.

Such an aweful experience. The room need a total renovation!!

The worst of all was the treatment from the staff when I checked out. They honestly didn’t care at all that my stay was aweful, and that I didn’t sleep for a second. I asked if they would compensate in any way, but no, they just handed me the restaurant and minibar bill which was little under 600 000vnd. I asked if they maybe would call the manager. They did, and the manager said that I could get a 200 000vnd discount from the restaurant bill. What a joke!

I will never ever come back to this place again... not only because of the cockroaches - but the treatment from the staff was even worse. They have very much to learn when it comes to the treatment of costumers that are not satisfied...

🏡 Rooms & Space The resort has a beautiful blend of Cham architecture and modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with traditional touches, giving you a warm and relaxing vibe. I had a room with a sea view, and waking up to the sound of waves was priceless.

🏖️ Beach & Pool Poshanu Resort has direct access to a clean, private beach with soft sand and clear water. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean, creating the perfect spot for a sunrise swim or a sunset chill with a coconut in hand.

🍽️ Food & Drinks Breakfast is delicious, with a variety of local Vietnamese dishes and Western options, served in a restaurant with a beautiful sea view. The seafood dishes here are fresh and flavorful, and the drinks at the bar are well-prepared.

🤝 Service The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist you with a smile. They helped us arrange local tours and gave recommendations for exploring Phan Thiết and Mũi Né.

📸 Photo Spots From the traditional Cham-inspired architecture, coconut-lined beach, lush green gardens to the infinity pool with a sea view, every corner of the resort is Instagram-worthy.
