We have been to the Red Dao Herbal Baths two times now. They are fantastic.

This is the real deal - they are so much better than the ones in Sa Pa town. There are many more herbs in the water. The Red Dao come here themselves and bathe. So, if the locals are coming you know this is the best bath in the area.

You can share a room, or have a room to yourselves.

The views are wonderful. The bath is hot and medicinal. The staff are very welcoming.

Spend about 20 minutes in the bath and all your worries and ailments go away!

This is the first original herbal bath house in Sapa. So grateful for Taphin cottage owner to recommend us here. The family showed you how they brewed the medicinal herbs , they also offered herbal shampoo and body wash made directly here. 4 stars (and not 5) only because of the road from Sapa to the place (~40 min): extremely bad! I guess it was especially bad because we went there when it was already dark and after few days of rain (Jan 2018). The bath itself is really good, as the other reviews confirm.
