Ta Phi is awesome. If you ever want to visit this village try to find this Red Dao grandma or she might talk to you and guide you around with a fee. We passed by a local shop/home with a group of Dao people. One of the lady came up on her motorbike and talked to us - which is a bit weird of the start of journey. However, she became our local guide and took us to few spots with awesome views of the village. She also showed us her house (one of her son and few grandchildren were at home) and farm animals (pigs, chicks, cat and dog. In return, she asked us to buy handmade items- this was agreed upon the start of the real ‘local guide’ experience. I bought a crossbody bag and pouch for 300K VND to say thank-you. She can’t write (was told her family couldn’t afford school for her due to poverty) but she learnt English from tourists! She is amazing and the kids are...

마을 입구에서부터 오토바이로 쫓아오며 전통 직물을 파는 사람이 있었습니다. 만약 사지 않으면 다른 사람들이 어차피 사라고 할테니 반드시 사라고 하더라구요 차라리 입장료를 받았으면 좋았을텐데. 그 사람은 계속 계속 쫓아오면서 물건을 사라고 했습니다 '여기 돌아다니면 이 사람이 계속 우릴 쫓아오는건가??' 하는 생각이 들기도하고 심지어 다른 마을로 못 가게 막기까지해서 너무 무서워 이 마을에서 즉시 도망쳐나왔습니다. 😢 이부분이 개선되면 훨씬 더 좋은 관광지가 될거라고 생각해요
