22.-30.3.2024: A fairly long stay in Vung Tau. La Vita has a nice location, nice rooms, Pool area and a friendly staff.
Rooms: were cleaned properly and had working air-conditioning, although it cut off randomly, a bit frustrating to wake up sweating. It had a small refrigderator that kept our late supper & breakfast ingredients and waters cool. Pretty small in size but being european that is what i am used to anyway. Shower separated by glass walls is nice from the rest of the restroom/toilet. There could be more water pressure. The water temps were all over the place but being +32C all the the time it is not a problem, nice to cool down in a coldish shower. Could be a bit better. 3+/5.
Service: very good. Very friendly. I did not notice that there is a door bell If the iron curtain is closed coming back from a fiesta with nice Vietnamese folks. I am sorry for knocking hard on the wall having missed the bell. 5/5.
Location: could not be better. Across The street is Pullman and just a couple of minutes walk Lotte Mart that has everything you need. It is also not far from The Back Beach. Though the sea is filled with pollution i would not recommend swimming. But it is a short walk away. Also everything you need is very close so the location is perfect. 5/5.
Overall i have to give this place a strong 4+ The location is a million dollars and the staff, despite a bit of trouble understanding, Google translator works well and The smile and friendliness is...
Read moreIt is a cute little hotel with a nice clean pool. We were there during the independence weekend so it was pretty busy with families as well. This isn't the fault of the hotel but i really did not like waking up to screaming kids every morning, downsides of traveling during the holiday weekend i guess haha. The room was super clean, bed + pillows are amazingly comfortable. Pool is nice and clean as well but had so much chlorine. The shower wasn't consistently hot but Vung Tau was burning hot so cold water didn't bother us much. Our experience was satisfactory overall. Just didn't like the kids and loud guests. Might not be the best place for couples...
Read moreMy impression of this hotel is the space. You can park cars in the front yard, that's good for a family-travel. The yard is also a beautiful path covered by rock and grass leading to their rooms and apartments. They have a drill for hire if you would like to have a BBQ outdoor, too. The room, toilette are spacious either the bed, and that's what I like most. The hotel is in walking-distance to the beach. One minus point to me, even though the owners and receptionists are friendly, do not expect a professional service here, it did't look like I was staying in a hotel because I had to look around to find the staff when I need something and even when...
