I had the pleasure of enjoying yet another unforgettable dinner at Benaras Restaurant tonight, and I must say, the experience was absolutely stellar. The Tandoori Chicken was out of this world—perfectly marinated, cooked to tender perfection, and bursting with authentic Indian flavors. A true culinary masterpiece that showcases the skill and passion behind the kitchen.

Special accolades to Anil, the Tandoor Chef, for crafting such a scrumptious and flavorful dish. His expertise in traditional Indian cuisine truly shines through every bite.

Tuesday 30th April. We just went for a meal. Wife ordered butter chicken as her go to meal as it as she told the waiter she does not like too spicy. She also ordered entrees of samova which as standard come with two tips one of which is a mint coriander yoghurt mix. It was 10 out of ten hot. I asked the waitress to dress the heat level down by adding 50 percent more yoghurt. She said with a straight face this is indian food and if it is too hot just don't eat it. However it is a big part of the dish. I had to sternly tell her to take it away and add the yoghurt. My dish was roganjosh which came in a sauce which was OK but thinner than a standard soup. It flowed straight through the rice so spoiled the dinner which I had to eat with a soup spoon to get the source in with the meat. Overall very disappointing dishes. The redeeming feature was the amazing young man playing saxophone while we ate. 10 out of 10 for him. I wish he could have cooked...
