Gloria's Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Southern Province

Just come back from a three night stay at Gloria's and cannot thank Gloria and her charming family and friendly staff enough for a perfect stay. A short (15 minute) walk or taxi ride (8 kwa) from the town centre, Gloria's is an excellent base for spending a few days in Livingstone. The room was of a very high standard, clean and well presented with very comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. The room had a/c and a mozzie net, ne£ither of which were needed while I was there. Fabulous full English breakfasts were provided each day. The garden and pool provided the perfect place to relax in a very peaceful setting. We walked down to town and back every evening to eat and felt perfectly safe at all times. Staying at Gloria’s was a mixed bag. The staff (especially Gloria) were very friendly and welcoming. Really appreciated some welcome juice and the suggestion to order food delivery when we arrived late. Breakfast was decent. The location is at least 20 min walk to central area depending on where you are going. A big snag was that the day our room was cleaned our bags were opened including hidden section on the inside containing a wallet. The bags were stored inside the closet making it unnecessary to move them or touch them to do any cleaning.
