I absolutely loved it here. The people here are so incredibly nice. The rooms are nice and clean, with mosquito nets around the beds. I also enjoyed the swimming pool, and had some nice drinks at the bar. I loved chatting with the locals, and they were so amazing. I did a few trips from the lodge, like a safari through the Mosi-Oa-Tunya park with one of their tour guides. As I was the only one on that day (which made it a little bit more expensive but definitely worth it), I had a lovely private gamedrive. You can decide to join for lunch and dinner, which I liked a lot. I especially enjoyed the local foods, to get a little taste of the country. On my last night I wanted to eat somewhere else for a change, as I was by myself and wanted to do something else for a night, and the French manager recommended a place that had a beautiful sunset view over the Zambezi. As I didn’t have any more days left in Zambia I was not able to do any more tours from the lodge. However, I did understand that they organise a lot of tours, mostly for French people but still anyone was welcome. I would definitely come back to this lodge, if only for the lovely staff and amazing people I met in the village of Livingstone.

Our group of 7 stayed in 4 of the rooms. From the moment we stepped out of our vehicles, we felt the peacefulness of this resort come over us. Everything here says "Relax." The rooms were inviting and just as pictured on the booking site. There is a veranda with self-serve kitchen which was perfect for lunching in the afternoon after seeing the Falls or for conversation in the evening. We had an excellent dinner with starter choices including butternut soup, vegetarian entrees, and tempting desserts. The chef is spot-on! In the morning, our hot breakfast included eggs made to-order, crepes, toast, cereal, coffee/tea, fruit, and fruit juice. Yotham and staff were so accommodating. Located conveniently off Airport Road, the setting is peacefully off the main streets, yet so close to all that we needed and wanted to see. We are planning a family holiday later this year.

Kamunjila hosted our family of four for a dental mission trip. We were treated to awesome friendly service with a smile. From the evening deck chats to the air-conditioned comfort of the rooms, to the filling breakfast and dinner, our expectations were met and exceeded. The staff went way out of their way to make me a surprise birthday cake. Ignatius the onsite artist gave our ten year old an impromptu art lesson that he will remember forever. Thank you all for making our families first trip to Zambia so memorable.

A real pleasant surprise! Very close in to the main road to the markets about five minute walk and another five minutes walk to the Livingston museum. I wish I would’ve found this location on my last trip three months ago when there was eight of us in a group (vacation). Nine bedroom unit units total separated 50 to 100 feet away from each other. my lodge was plenty big enough to spread out for large suitcases and still be able to walk around inside my lodge. 3 separate outdoor sitting areas 2 with lots of trees or cover and the other around a shallow pool for a quick dip or lounging in the sun. The staff are very accessible from early morning to late at night. Light snacks and beverages are available at their outdoor bar. They they have a menu and the cook is readily available to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The price was extremely reasonable for the comfort, feeling secure, and close in for playing tourist, or for business...
