I visited the store a little after 11:30am. I was planning to buy some perilla leaves, dried squid, and a few discounted snacks displayed near the front. However, I noticed that the Mon Cher snack was priced about $1 higher than the sale price shown on the shelf.

I politely pointed this out to the female staff member at the register, but she completely ignored what I said and just insisted that the price was correct. I understand that anyone can make a mistake once — I was willing to overlook that.

What really ruined my experience was her attitude. Even after completing the transaction, her behaviour went beyond being rude — she came across as someone who couldn’t care less and made me feel completely dismissed.

That attitude genuinely affected my whole day, and that’s why I’m writing this review — to express how unpleasant that interaction was.

I wonder if other customers who visited on a similar quiet weekday morning might have felt the same.

I wanted to purchase a packet of hokkien noodles from this store today because woolies didn't have the stock. However, the lady who served me was unable to scan the product. I asked her, does that mean you can't sell it to me? her reply was no because she didn't know what the price was.. Someone with good customer service would've used some initiative to ask someone, recommend a similar product, or put through a sale under a misc sku with a suggested price. As a result, I will need to travel further out to locate these hokkien noodles for dinner. Otherwise generally happy with the product range...

Small but well stocked dry goods and frozen products. Korean & Asian needs, Ramen and seasonings galore. Not much variety of fresh greens. Best Soju prices around!
