Needs shade. Umbrellas at tee offs or sails.
Went here Friday with my teenagers, brother and his family with young niece. It is a lovely course, something different from traditional mini golf that we do all the time. With the Adelaide weather at present hard to gauge, our booking day even though we went at 4pm was still extremely hot.
While the trees down one end provided a small amount of shade there is no shade provided over the entire course for the bulk of the day. It was so unbearable that we did have so stop and sit down in the shade half way through. By the second half thankfully a bit of shade had formed from the trees down the opposite end.
Simply placing umbrellas on the timber stands around the course would provide a bit of shade and reprieve from the sun (like most mini golf places have) I would say something to think about for the future so the course can be enjoyed better.
While we did have fun and think it’s a great course, the staff were friendly too, we all really just wanted to play and finish our game so we could leave...
Read moreOur group of 13 thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at SHANX Mini Golf at Regency Park. The course was so much better than the amusement style mini golf courses. It was well spaced out, clean and you can take drink out with you. The service from online booking right through to check in was seamless. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Booking online meant our big group was divided into teams which created an extra layer of fun for us and gave us time to come up with team names and 'uniforms'. It was a really great way to get all of us together for our Christmas celebration. Would highly recommend SHANX Mini Golf at...
Read moreI came here with the kids on a hot day, but we still had fun. The course is very well maintained, you can see the groundsman takes great pride in this mini course. Because it was so hot too, they had misting fans which is a great idea. The course has 18 holes, with an easy and a difficult target hole at each one. This is explained when you get there, by the very nice groundsman. Only negative, insufficient signage to the entrance. We walked up to one gate, to only have a small sign directing you back down the hill to the other gate. Apart from this, great set up and...
