Love this place! Cannot recommend enough. I’ve been here multiple times - for takeout or dine in. I went before the renovation but recently it got so much bigger and spacious which is nice! More table to sit on haha Good for family/friends to gather now that they have expanded their space The food are really nice here. Priced so well, super reasonable. Servings can appear on the smaller side but comparing to the price, serving is more than worth it. I order multiple dishes to try usually Most dishes are $10-25, well priced and tasty. I love how they use their spices and flavours. Definitely one of the best Asian restaurants. Chefs are also nice. I think the main chef has always been so welcoming everytime we were there, making small conversation and waving bye or hi at us! He’s a chef from golden boy etc. so he definitely knows what he is doing I like their laksa, pad thai and fried pork dishes which are nice as well. Thai milk tea is also reasonably priced and delicious. Definitely try the pineapple fried rice, yum! I love love palm the wokker, cannot recommend enough to anyone! Please definitely give it a visit, you won’t regret :)

Lunch yesterday with Dad. We were excited to try the food here after reading the reviews. 5 minutes after ordering Dad decided he wanted the Char Kway Teow instead of the main he chose. I asked the waitress if we could please change the main meal, she went to the kitchen and came back and said no sorry. I asked why as we had only just placed our order and hadn’t received our entrees yet and they wouldn’t have started cooking our mains. She again said sorry. We had Satay chicken to share for entree and Roti with satay sauce. $7 for 1 Roti the size of a small bread and butter plate was ridiculous with a small dish of satay sauce. Mains came 30 mins later. Pad Thai was a bit sweeter than I have had in the past. 2 prawns and pieces of chicken the size of my little fingernail which would have been about 10 of in total. So very disappointing paying $18.50 for 95% noodles with some bean sprouts and peanuts. Lunch dishes should be the same as dinner dishes. $60 Ripped off. For all the hype sadly we will not be returning.

My friend and I had an impromptu lunch date here. It was very easy to book on their online booking the day before, but I think it's the dinner crowd that really fills this place up. So it was very nice that there were only 3 other tables aside from ours a Saturday noon, so we could have a leisurely catch up lunch. We ordered the papaya salad, which was very flavourful but we would have like it spicier. We also ordered a vermicelli noodle dish that was on the special of the day menu. Very nice and we finished that up in no time, hence no photo. We also ordered an entree of Korean Fried Chicken. The bomb! We agreed that we would come back to the restaurant just for this dish. My friend's teenager son ordered satay chicken and a roti, which were also quite nice. The peanut sauce was scrumptious. And the Thai Sangria was delicious. Not strong but light and refreshing. Also presented very nicely. We definitely recommend and will be back to try more dishes here.

Disappointed by service despite previously great experience.

Me and my partner have eaten at Palm the Wokker before and absolutely loved the food, which is why we decided to come back. Unfortunately, last night’s experience was pretty disappointing.

When we arrived, we were kindly welcomed and seated. We wanted to order the pineapple fried rice and spicy turmeric fish, and it seemed pretty busy, so I went up to the counter and ordered there. The staff member took my order, allergies (none, just no spring onions) and even took my name down, which was noted down in front of me and even repeated the order back to me to confirm, it was all correct.

As the night went on, we noticed tables who came in after us were already getting their food. It felt like we were forgotten. I politely asked one of the waitresses about our order, but she looked confused, but insisted she’ll check.

A little while later, we overheard the register staff (the person that took our order) questioning the same waitress whether she had taken our order yet - as though it was her fault. This felt unfair for the waitress, as I had clearly placed my order directly at the counter, and the waitress seemed genuinely apologetic, despite it not being her fault.

I calmly tried to clarify things with the person at the register, but she seemed lost. I reminded her that she had taken my order, my allergies and even my name was noted down right in front of me. She sorted through a pile of dockets. It didn’t feel great. I don’t know how the system works there, but it felt like there was a lack of accountability where it mattered most.

She asked if I wanted to order again and whether I had already paid (no), but by that point, I’d lost my appetite, and I told her not to worry about it and left quietly. My partner and I were both pretty disappointed. We wondered what went wrong, and checked to see other reviews for Palm the Wokker. It’s clear from other reviews that this kind of thing has happened several times before, and while I understand places get busy, communication and proper service shouldn’t be overlooked.

We believe Palm the Wokker is great, but the service last night didn’t reflect that. It really missed the mark, and I hope it was just a one-off

I hope management takes this as constructive feedback to improve coordination and ensure no customer after us feels forgotten...

1st visit this evening. The Chef owner and staff are very nice.I ordered choo chee.chicken.Chef allowed me to swap rice for veg. That was a bonus. This stir fry was banging with flavour.Smokey wok taste as well.y uuum ! The portion size with the veg as a stir fry was sml to modest size at best tho. Korean chikn wings cooked well.mild flavoured.Needs herbs or spices and marinated or spices in the coating.Wld elevate this entree.Very Good serving portion size but veeeery greasy. Moo ping also mild .Comes with a nice runny style sauce. Id like more herbs or the meat marinated to get flavour into the meat.chargrilled not sure???.just on the grill? Only been open 3 months. If you visit this restaurant.Best to book as it was jam packed super busy tonight. If i cld suggest anything that cld be further developed. is some more Fresh things on the menu. Not as greasy or heavy. Veg sticks platters sprinkled with fresh herbs.cold style chicken, pork or beef .with tiny cocktail buns.. Half coconuts filled tai meat n Salad..The coconut removed n shaved in the salad. Bah mi?? or bao buns? Tai meatballs with lemongrass coconut sauce or in a fresh salad with green mango etc. Open evenings. This place is worth a visit.8 outa 10 from me...
