The weather on Saturday dd. 25th January 2025, may have been a little grey and breezy but Graeme provided an excellent, light-hearted, informative and interesting 2 hr+ river cruise ; onboard an All-weather boat, of the Blackwood River, Augusta, Western Australia. Passengers are provided with binoculars and handy bird identification charts. Graeme was quick to point out, and advised of, local Dolphins, numerous bird types (e.g. Eagles, Osprey, Pelicans, Cormorants, Spoon Bills etc just to name a few) and local information and history. Graeme is a wealth of knowledge for people visiting Augusta and his tour was filled with pods of Dolphins swimming up and down the river, an array of birds that we saw flying around with the binoculars he provided us. We saw the barge in operation for Molloy Island too. From the waterski area to the mouth of the River we had a great experience filled with laughter and excitement for the children too.
