We recently stayed at Beachport Caravan Park, now under the fantastic new management of Sandra and Darren — and from start to finish, our experience was flawless.

From our very first enquiry by email, Sandra responded quickly and confirmed our booking seamlessly. When we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and given the most incredible site — just metres across a quiet road from the beach, and only a short stroll to the iconic jetty and the charming township, which has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The pride and passion Sandra and Darren have for the park is obvious. The grounds are immaculate, with large, flat grassy sites and beautifully maintained grounds and buildings.

The amenities were spotless, fresh, and a pleasure to use. The games room, camp kitchen, and laundry facilities were all modern, clean, and inviting.

Accommodation options go well beyond caravan sites, with ensuite cabins, the “Beach House,” and stunning surfside luxury cabins that look absolutely amazing. Some of the prime beachfront sites even have sweeping ocean views — falling asleep after a big day exploring this amazing part of South Australia to the sound of the waves was simply magical.

We loved the fire pits for cosy evenings, and the absolute best part is how wonderfully dog-friendly the park is — perfect for the whole family.

Would not recommend staying at this caravan park. We had out tent in our designated camping area (within the white lines) due the the cleaning door coming into our campsite when they opened the door, the door has ripped a hole in our brand new tent and there is a massive whole in it now. Went up to the reception in the morning once we noticed the rip and they told us they were not going to do anything about it as “we should have kept room for the door”. Although we were in our designated white line campground and there was a space blocked off that said “keep clear of door at all time” which remained clear at all times (this door was not in our designated area, it was next to it). When going to reception to resolve this issue the worker was very rude and threatened to charge us for extra people although we did not have anyone extra stay, then threatened to charge us for a noise complaint we received at 9pm on a Friday night, (no music playing, we were sitting in a small circle talking and watching the footy) We called and booked for 5 adults (2 couples in 2 rooftop tents and one in a swag) (2 cars on site and one car parked outside of the camping area). When we arrived the booking was already paid for over the phone and received confirmation for 5 adults to stay. Also a camera right above our campsite. Very disappointed there is a rip in our brand new tent when we did nothing wrong, we were in our camp area and then to get talked to rudely when going up to...

Beautiful town and fantastic caravan park!

I drove the family from Melbourne for a quick 5 day visit and was worth every minute of the drive. What a beautiful town and fantastic caravan park! Great amenities, fun games room and playground for the kids, as well as a beautiful beaches to explore and relax on.

We stayed in one of the luxury apartments which was literally 30m to the beach, making it easy to come and go as we pleased. The apartment had everything you could possibly want, including ocean views to watch the sun rise in morning. The park staff were super friendly and helpful with information about the local area.

The town is only a 2 min walk away and has everything you need. A great pub, bakery, general store, fish and chips and cafe with the most delicious coffee!

It was easy to fill our days with activities for the kids. Access to a huge pier for fishing and a great golf course directly behind the caravan park where you can literally walk into the 3rd hole.

Overall I would have to say one of the best caravan parks and most beautiful quaint beach towns I have visited. Really great if you have kids like us, or I’m sure equally relaxing without. I couldn’t rate any...
