Disappointed with the service, but the chips were amazing

I have to say, the chips at Harry’s Takeaway are honestly the best ever — perfectly crispy, hot, and full of flavour. I’d go back just for those!

However, the service really let the experience down. When I went in, I didn’t realise I was supposed to shut the door, and when I apologised, I was yelled at in a really rude way. It wasn’t a polite or understanding tone — it was harsh and unnecessary. I genuinely couldn’t hear her properly, but instead of being kind about it, I was screamed at. It made me really uncomfortable and took away from what could’ve been a great visit.

If the staff were a bit more respectful, this place would easily be five stars because the food...

An interesting experience. Has always got chips from Maccas so this was the first time I tried this shop. I was hesitant at first as there was no one when I came except two old ladies behind the stall (at around 6pm). But then customers kept coming and many ordered chips and nuggets.

I got some fish n chips for a humble $6 and almost freaked out when she gave me this big paper wrap 😂😂 Turned out she wrapped it in 2 HUGE sheets of paper (A1 size I guess) and the chips were still sizzling hot inside when I opened. The serve was HUGE as well and I could only finished one-third.

Friendly nice ladies. Will take at least 10 min though so make sure you are not in a rush. Cash only. Love it,...

Went here quite a few times and gave up in the end. Servings are very inconsistant. I found myself ordering more and more each time i went and recieving less and less. Definatly dont go within the hour of closing time because that was the worst customer service i had ordered a large chips among other things and got home and there was only a handful and barely any salt, scallops were small and they forgot the battered sav so had to cook that after the rest of the order was ready. The beef burger tasted like the beef had been sitting around for awhile as it didnt taste right. I wont be going back and definatly wouldnt...
