I spent no joke... 5 days trying to contact Sam to discuss my application, every time I called he was busy and other staff unable to discuss application , so trying to contact one person was insanely difficult, especially if you are unable to use your mobile phone at work. I ended up having to leave the ICU I work at for 45mins to sit outside and wait for his call back, on the 5th day of attempting to contact him. It then took another 5 working days for all the ridiculous documents required to be gathered and sent to NRMA, this was far more than required by the Audi dealership I bought a new car from earlier this year!!! The seller had to wait 3 weeks total for the process with NRMA, this included him sending multiple documents to the finance team. Almost lost the vehicle due to this lengthy process. After all that whomever makes the final call asked for me to send an email from my government email address as they weren't 100% satisfied my signature matched, despite sending passports, NSW drivers license, pay slips, utility bills and even my current lease agreement. Not to mention certified copy of my ID documents by a JP. Absolutely absurd and ridiculously long process.
Only good side was Kenny Liong, he called multiple times to give me updates and apologized for how long its taken without me even saying anything. Kenny got everything organized and sorted, once my application was in his hands everything went smoothly.
Would not recommend NRMA loans due to the time its taken and the documentation required is significantly more than others required in the past. Risk of losing the vehicle you want due to the entire prosses is...
Read moreHorrible customer service and complete waste of time, was offered a low rate initially and ready to go after all credit checks and confirmation was completed I just had to go ahead with it but wanted to shop around for a week and at reapply with the same circumstances was offered a much higher rate, agreed to it and became an NRMA member in the hope to get a discount on my rate and was told we will get it secured after the Christmas break and I'd get a call. I login to my NRMA account to a decline of loan with not a reason why or sorry when I've told them I'm looking to pick up the car in a week. Very poor especially when who I spoke to raised a lot of my monthly expenses for a couple when my partner pays her own bills and has a job which could of affected the outcome of the loan. My mum said for me to look at NRMA because they are good to deal with, I regret even entertaining both car finance and...
Read moreIncredibly unhelpful, only communicate with you when they are submitting an application, leads you to believe certain things will be fine when they aren't, and then will dodge your calls, emails and callback requests to the best of their ability. Won't tell you why even though they say on paper you look like a good applicant. Specifically didn't want to submit if there was a risk of not being approved and they did it anyway. Didn't respond when I asked how much deposit was necessary and this caused it to decline. Tried to mansplain loans and credit scores to me even though I'm aware of how loan applications and processes work. Credit score fell from the low-mid 900s to the 800s due to short credit file history meaning enquiries have a bigger impact. Won't even have the decency to communicate or tell you why other than a generic email that doesn't even have the links correctly populated or any...
