I enjoy the food from Miss Home Chinese Takeaway in Ellenbrook, However, my recent order was marred by a miscommunication about pricing during the public holiday . I was quoted $99.50 over the phone, but they later added a $5 public holiday surcharge via sms without mentioning it during our phone conversation.

Given the number of poor reviews you have received, I think it would've been a good opportunity for you to turn things around by taking accountability for your own mistake not excuses and just absorbing the $5 loss. Unfortunately, it seems you'd rather be on a continuing trend of customer dissatisfaction. Hopefully, you'll take feedback on board and improve."

However, I still think it would've been a good opportunity for you to take accountability for the mistake and absorb the $5 loss since it was more your end, and especially considering the poor feedback you've received in the past on different issues this was a opportunity for you to not just take accountability but show good customer service, and just to clarify, you mentioned reaching out via SMS prior to finalising the order, but I distinctly remember receiving the notification after the order was already finalised. [mid MARCH 2025] ... extremely busy when placed a phone order on SAT night - was advised a 45-60 min wait.

Got an SMS from store, saying order was ready 20 mins ahead of original time.

That type of PERSONAL touch really makes this store stand out above others.

That personal touch - of letting customers know by SMS == really sets this place apart from others ... Thankyou.

Miss Home == best chinese in Ellenbrook area ... And clearly others agree - as store is so busy.

[MARCH 2025] ... 100% credit to store ... Not only exceptional quality of dishes +++ customer service as well.

All dishes were 100% perfect as well. Our favourite place these days.

[NOV 2024] ... what happened with yesterday's order???

"S&P Squid" - was missing the pepper. It was 100% salty - with no pepper taste :( :(

Rest of dishes were 100% perfect, just not this one.

I still recommend this place (only been twice) - but think now need to downgrade to 4 stars.

Lastly ... Your combo Mai Fun == 100% LOVE ... it even has a smokey taste to it, which I quite like (don't get that with normal "western" Chinese).

Disappointed in food again. We bought take away food yesterday. It was second time. We ordered chicken fried rice - no much chicken, no colour much, only a few peas and a bit egg, no much favour expect smoky

The menu is no enough infor / detail about dishes at all

We ordered Salt and pepper king prawns

It should say like " deep fried " prawns

I didn't want to eat fatty oily fried prawns which made me sick

Waste money! Removed all the butter to eat only prawns

This take away is closed to home so try again but

Better to drive somewhere to get chinese food.
